watching it on Sportssouth right now, lol. Also, I didn't I say the Braves offense was terrible? Outside that wtf 16 runs in game 1, which I thought they wasted all those runs there.. they've been quite terrible. What are they this sereies, like 4-26 with RISP? :/ Can't win many games when you can't do shit.

This game's been full of ups and downs too. Glaus at 1B is still scary to watch.. and Lowe was once again dreadful.

Lowe's sinker was working earlier before he completely lost his control. He still got through 6 IP with only 1 ER so that is all I really care about. Like you said it looks just like last season though, lack of clutch hitting=lack of offense on a team without a ton of power. As I type this RBI HBP, atta baby Glaus!

Well.. that's just it. Last season, they WERE good with clutch hitting which is why they won their close 1-run games more often and what not. They were really good with two out hitting. This year though? They're still trying to mesh I think.

It really doesn't do anything to me and I'm on vista. Just download the streamtorrent program and you click the link and it loads. Very simple install, just take your time before the next game and set it up.

Yeah he did, it's really not a surprise though, Varitek was never a terrible offensive catcher until last year. His start yesterday kind of reminded me of Doug Mirabelli going out there every fifth day to catch Wakefield, always seemed like he hit a home run whenever he got the start. Regardless it was nice to see Lowell, Hermida, and Varitek come off the bench and produce, it's great having a bench that deep. If only Ortiz would remember what he did second half last season...

Nats win 3 of their last 4 to get to .500, and what's our reward? Another goddamn series with the Phils. We dodge Halladay at least.

Someone asked about Strassburg- smart money has him in Washington the first week of June to outwit the arbitration calendar. Maybe the 6/4-6/6 series against CIN or 6/8-6/10 vs PIT. The series against the Reds is over the weekend, so my money is on the ownership starting him that weekend to guarantee a big crowd.

He made his first pro start today. Had a semi-rough 1st, giving up a run and only throwing strikes on 12 of his first 24 pitches. Then he settled down. Final line: 5 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 8 K. 55 of 82 for strikes. He hit 98 on the gun (which the local team says is 2 mph slow), and he featured a 90mph change-up (lol).

By comparison, Livan won today for the Nats. A few years ago I was at a game he pitched in RFK where he threw a 59mph curve.
