need honest opinions on a trade. Cousin wants Jayson Werth, offering Alfonso soriano and Francisco cordero. My OF already consists of bay, abreu, Manny, choo, and rasmus, and I'll have to drop someone to make the trade, probably Thornton (no holds in the league) or an infielder.

    According to Kotaku:

According to the New York Times, Sony will tomorrow spill the beans on a deal that will see Major League Baseball games streamed live to PlayStation 3 consoles.

Yes, by the end of the week Americans will be able to turn on their PS3, sign up to the league's MLB.TV service, and watch "out of market" games over the PlayStation Network.

It's of course not free; like Netflix, you'll need to pay the MLB.TV subscription, which will set you back $100 for the standard package or $120 for a "premium" deal.

That's, uh, steep. But if you're a sports fan, and would rather watch the games streamed to your big TV instead of a phone or your desktop computer (and don't already own a set-top box that supports MLB.TV), this might still sound like a good idea. Does it? I don't know. $100 a year for baseball games sounds crazy.

Again I don't see how $100 is too much. Even if you only follow one game, that's 162 games or a couple quarters per game. If you love baseball and watch a lot of games it's an even better deal.

If you're really looking to dump him, do so for something else. That trade is basically Werth for Cordero, Soriano's power number and SB rates has been spiraling into shit.

and I sincerely hope you're starting Choo and Rasmus.

Manny has been no slouch either, but Soriano is pretty much shit now, so only if you need a closer.

No joke, finally Prince does something for me. He's been slumping bad. Now lets follow that up with a 20-0 route of Philly and i'll be giddy. It is Lowe pitching, so break out the bats.

Phils put Happ on 15 day DL retro to April 16th. Fantastic. Blanton can't get healthy soon enough. At least Romero is back.

I got into my car after work, turned it on, and hear "A-Rod steps on the bag, throws to Jeter for 2, over to Johnson... Triple Play! The first Yankee triple play in over 40 years!! Well, IIIIII guess you could say they were due, eh Suzyn?"

I want to know how John (who probably doesn't know what day of the week it is) knew that it had been 40 years on the fly.

Thanks, figured as much. Real tough deciding which OF to bench on any given day though. Bay's there right now but that feels so dumb.

Yeah, I figured we'd get swept and honestly, we should have if it wasn't for that comeback the other night. Phillies get a shit ton of run support for Moyer while Lowe's been terrible even with a 3-0 record.

Who is Dallas Brayden and why is he crying about A-rod walking over the mound?

SP for Oakland I guess. Pretty good pitcher. I think he's a starter, anyway

I don't understand Atlanta's approach against Moyer at all. He keeps throwing first pitches down the middle, which no one swings at. Then he throws one that gets pulled foul by people trying to pull. Then it's junk on the outside for strike 3 or cheap ground outs. Seriously, i'm seeing people bail out and trying to pull, on fucking Moyer. Who set up the game plan!?! Can i be the hitting coach?

At his best, Jamie Moyer preys on impatience. I love it. I've watched some epic games he's thrown against the Marlins just feasting on the young players who get so anxious swinging at the slow ball. At his worst, he's lobbing BP fastballs.

I was going to remark about the Phillies making Lowe throw pitches, but then Howard first pitch pop upped. Howard needs to clobber a ball.

It was a rhetorical question I know who he is, I was mainly asking what makes him think he can talk shit to A-rod?
