Welcome back J.C Romero.
Welcome back J.C Romero.
1st and 2nd, no out. Gardner is hitting over 300, already hit a double today, and he's fast as hell meaning he's unlikely to hit into a double play. Joe decides to bunt him. I HATE MANAGERS WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH BUNTS. OUTS ARE BAD. BUNTS ARE OUTS. BUNTS ARE BAD!
Welcome to the show, meat.
I guess this slump goes back to the "Phillies get off to a slow start in April" thing. That was a pretty boring game. Close to or around 50 innings without a home run. I guess the good news would be that they're due to put up lots of runs soon.
It's awesome having your second best reliever getting the ROOGY treatment.
Hadn't pitched in 8 days and pitches to one batter, who he strikes out. Fuck off Girardi.
I want Andruw Jones back![]()
Bases loaded with 1 out in the 1st and once again Braves can't even get a sac fly.
LMAO THE BRAVES ARE TERRIBLE. That's worse than the dropped infield fly yesterday. Really Escobar? Really? how do you forget to tag up. Rofl.
Hey, the Braves scored a run! Sound the trumpets!
I swear the shots of the dogs in the crowd are more entertaining than this game.
And i'm sorry, Glaus may be a good guy but he has to go. Fucking strikes out every time there's someone on base.
Oh and Chipper's hurt. Don't forget that! Lol.. I slept through the Braves game today. Good thing too. Sounds like more fundamental mistakes and Glaus failing.
They couldn't catch, couldn't hit... couldn't do much of anything really. I'm surprised, I expected the Braves to be a lot better.
Yeah, I did too. Their pitching has been fine outside of Lowe (as I expected), but if anything.. I seriously think their offense is twice as bad as it was last year. Sure Heyward's been a little boost (though he's doing a rookie slump right now), but Glaus has been worse than Casey "I can barely hit homers" Kotchman.
This isn't the year or the team to stick someone, that hasn't hit a fastball in over a year, in the #5 slot. Glaus cannot even come close to hitting a fastball right now and he's getting a steady dose of it. I know the entire team in in a huge slump and it sounds like i'm picking on him, but he just looks terrible.
Lol, looks terrible? Right now, he is terrible. Who would you stick in the 5 slot? Heyward can't handle hitting in the 7 spot right now, which is to be understood.. but seriously.
Didn't catch the braves game. But is Heyward the RBI producing machine he was called out to be yet?
