Chan Ho Park declines a 3m contract from the Phils cause they wanted him in the pen and he wanted to start.

Now he's signed with the Yankees for supposedly 1.2m with no possible way of starting.

I don't wanna see Chan Ho Doof, if he's starting that means that we had like 9 guys in our rotation get injured. He was decent out of the pen in the world series though, I'll give him that. I think he just needs to realize that he's nothing more than a long reliever these days.

Chan Ho's ERA out of the pen the last two seasons is under 3.00. As long as they don't try to start him he'll be solid and well worth the pennies the Yankees paid for him.

His numbers last year, 2.52 ERA, 9.4 K/9, and 2.9 BB/9 in 50 relief innings. Not bad at all for a middle reliever for 1.2 mil.

I couldn't see him starting, and the Yankees really only have one long reliever left. The Yankees have like 5 guys already capable of filling the 5th starter spot so I couldn't see Park expecting to get a start, ever. I guess he was just desperate being a FA this long.
