Meh! And yeah, I dunno what they plan on doing. Maybe moving it to ESPN2? Or just calling it now? Wouldn't matter. Braves would probably go scoreless again anyway. They can get tons of walks, but no hits.
I don't think ESPN uses ESPN2 for anything other that poker. I honestly can't remember the last time i watched the deuce since it lost the NHL, other that when they move Around the Horn and PTI there sometimes.
Well since the channels are back to back, I usually flip to and fro. Usually during the end of college basketball or whatever, they'd throw the MLB game of the night on ESPN2
Well if anyone cares they said they'd send the game back if it resumes, but obviously if they don't resume it's official.
at least it would be a CG for Tommy Hanson >.>
CG Loss
Didn't they change the rain delay rules after the tsunami in the '08 World Series or is it just postseason for suspended games?
It's official Pelfrey got his 4th win.
fuck yeah last place Braves.
Just looked at the standings for the first time and what the fuck
The Astros have as many wins as the Reds now.
14 runs scored in our last 8 games. Fuck yeah, incoming 4 game sweep by Cards.
Yeah, Braves are pretty god awful. Awesome pitching, lolhitting. I think everyone thinks batting below the Mendoza line is the new thing.
Relatively solid rumors floating around just now about a 5-year extension for Ryan Howard.
That's taking a big risk for a purely power slugger, I'd say they aren't going to pursue Werth by extending Howard.
They should really hold on to both of them, Werth is an underrated player despite the media attention the Phillies have gotten the last few years.
There were rumors that the Yankees were courting Werth because he has family ties with some Yankees management. But if they are also interested in Crawford I can't see how pursuing both is an option.
So, Mike Stanton has had a pretty good two day stretch. Hit two HRs last night, three more today. His combined line from the past two days:
7-8, 5 HRs, 1 2B, 2 BB, 1 K, 11 RBI
Now hitting .339/.482/.800/1.282 and leading all of baseball in HRs
I haven't heard anything that suggests that the Yankees are interested in anyone, people just like to naturally assume that if a player is a FA-to-be, and the Yankees have an opening, it's an automatic that the Yankees are interested. Not always the caseEspecially if Gardner extrapolates his current numbers, he's on pace to steal about 90 bases and score over 100 runs. If they get that from him there's no need to sign a LF with the rest of the team they have. I'd rather see them pursue another pitcher, since Vazquez is going to be gone after this year.
