Quentin and Konerko against Javy scares the bejesus out of me. They are uppercutting power hitters and he is a fly ball pitcher... in Yankee Stadium... and it's summer weather today. I think it's pretty much guaranteed that one of those guys hits a bomb today. The question is will that be all he gives up, and will the Yanks get him any support?

Either way, dude's gonna get boo'd like whoa unless he pitches a 7 inning masterpiece. I'm sure there are plenty of Sox fans who will enjoy that

Royals for Greinke or Mariners for Lee?

White Sox for Danks?

Danks is arguably the hottest pitcher in the AL so far, but it's early in the season, and it's hard to say how he'll end the year. Will it be like 2008 (low 3's era) or 2009 (high 3's era)

You can tell by the 4th or 5th inning if Danks is being his studly self, key stat to look at: Walks

If he isn't walking anybody, he's dominating. If he is walking guys, his PC will be in the 100's by the 5th inning

I'd like to remind people that Ozzie has sat Jones for Juan Pierre more than once already this season.

But Pierre is a grindy, slappy, fast guy. Ozzie loves those guys. Even if they can't hit, they're grindy.

Jesus Pelfrey is all sorts of fucked up because of those two dropped balls. The Reyes play was excusable, that Cora play was just bonehead because he tried to position to throw before he had the ball. Ah man.
