Plus with the notoriety of the Real board, you have one season to basically meld the team how you want it, and somehow win everything there is to win by the end of it, otherwise that's it xD
The thing is Mou has also said several times he wants to make his country win a World Cup. However, I do think he gives priority to his treble, and even if he wanted to coach both teams, it is very very unlikely Real Madrid would let him. But yeah, I remember reading interviews and him saying he had 3 major goals, winning the Champion's League with three different teams from the three main leagues (he has 2/3 so far), winning the World Cup with Portugal, and... I cant remember the last one for the life of me.

Win 3 big leagues England, Italy and Spain.

Win 3 champions with one team of those leagues.

Win Euro or World Cup with Portugal.

That goal was amazing, poor Reina was wtf happened.

That berb goal was world-class. He has really come on this season, I am curious to see if he can keep this up. He is one of the only modern players that can actually play football while walking...

LOL, why i am not surprised, that asshole stole Italy game against Korea in 2002 world cup.

The Ecuadorian ex-referee Byron Moreno was caught today at the JFK airport in New York, trying to enter the United States with at least 13 pounds (6 kilograms) of heroin. Moreno has already had past accusations of drug use, but Moreno went on to referee important matches in the 2002 World Cup, including when he ridiculously eliminated Italy with some terrible decisions.

Gigi Buffon released this statement when he heard about Moreno,
"Six kilograms of drugs? I think that Moreno already had the drugs back in 2002, but not in his underwear, in his body... But putting aside jokes, when people in sport get in ridiculous situations it means that they're scratching the bottom of the barrel. It means that he has lost the true sense of sport, which would also be to save many kids from the street and dangerous circles, like drug addiction."
It's an interesting piece of news which shows that back then, FIFA didn't pay much attention to a referee's past. What are your thoughts regarding this? Share them below by commenting.

This same ref also allowed 13 minutes of stoppage time in a match when only 6 was signaled so a team could win a match. He's a crook and I hope he goes away for a long time.

Chelsea finally loses thank god. City still not looking as good as they should, but at least the defense is starting to synch more.

    And loving Tevez's new look

God I love Tevez. I think that Man U was so stupid to let him go. I hope he only gets better with the confidence that that Captain's armband seems to give him.

OH that's what it looks like to hit that shot. Someone needs to send that link to Nani, he missed the same shot this morning. But ya was pretty nice. Big game tomorrow btw Chelsea vs Arsenal. Chelsea will probably over power them but you never know.

Man U looked terrible this morning. At least their passing improved the 2nd half, but still nothing to show for it.

Seems there is a curse on the city of Liverpool this year too. Everton and Liverpool sitting on the relegation line, and that after Everton actual won a game today.

I'll be rooting for the Gunners tomorrow, but with Fabregas out (and lol at getting injured deflecting the goalies kick for a score) they need to bring everything they have. Nasri has always been a good player, just doesn't seem to bring the spark to the game that Fabregas does.

Ya Arsenal is going to have a really rough time getting something going I think. If they play lights out defense they might be able to steal a goal on a quick out but other than that I think they'll have a hard time scoring.

Also yea ManU has looked pretty bad the entire season so far. Granted the line up today was like half never starters and half busts they managed not to throw the game away late so that's a positive. I'm waiting for them to push Hernandez out sooner in games, that kid is stupid fast and has such a great feel for scoring. I think if Berb keeps up his scoring and Rooney doesn't do something soon Hernandez can steal that starting spot by the later half of the season.

Weekends are pretty good right now between all the soccer and football games, the only problem is drinking till 4am and waking up at 8am to watch ManU suck ass hah. And no one else in Ohio besides me likes soccer so I never have anyone to play with or watch matches with. It's leading me to drinking alone at 8am.

I know the feeling. I usually get off work at 4 am. If there's a good match on early, I can't fall asleep. I stay awake to watch it even though I have it recording.

Here I get most of the Premier League and Serie A games on the weekends, with an occasional La Liga or Bundesliga game. This past week also had plenty of Champions league, I've watched the big ones already, but need to watch the other 4 or 5 that I recorded. I decided against recording Ligue une games this year because I just can't keep up with all I have already. My ISP still doesn't carry ESPN3, but if it ever does, I think my brain will explode from football overload.

And living in the middle of Texas, there are very few people who I can talk with about European football. There are tons of Mexican fans around and several Brazilians frequent my bar, but I don't keep up with those leagues at all.

What I do love though is the looks on peoples faces when they ask what my favorite football team is. For some reason none of them have a clue who Manchester City is.

Ya I don't have cable but i have the internet so I can watch every game streaming. Thankfully I have 2 monitors that are 24 inches so I can have give or take 8 games going at once and keep decent track of what's going on. This Chelsea v Arsenal game was pretty good. Was really anyones game till the last 10 minutes.

That is a strange-ass thing, right there. We can't compete directly with them from the States because of the distance, so we're buying their teams? You know, this actually kind of pisses me off. The MLS is a pretty crappy league right now, but rather than buy a local team and try to make the product better over here, they'll buy fucking Liverpool. Obviously a better business decision, but if you care about the quality of the sport in the US... not very encouraging to see our big investors going elsewhere.

The guy is still amazing me, really happy that in general he has shown much better fit with Milan this season and last.

You know, the most amazing thing about him is how fat and unfit he looked in Chicago in May in comparison to how he looks now. I saw him play in a friendly and I honestly didn't think he'd last on Milan's roster through the season. Dude stepped it up, for sure. It's kind of unbelievable, having saw him.

AHAHA! Watching the Real Madrid v AC Milan game. Fan ran on in the 2nd minute... running around and finally got completely leg swiped from one of the security chasing him. TOTAL straight red card =)

EDIT: GD... i leave to get a quick lunch, come back 5 minutes later and it is 2 - 0.

Was a fairly good match, Real Madrid already coming together as a team. Needs work etc, but they are getting it together.
