So the past 12 years the U.S. has basically owned Mexico.. I believe the original question was who is better now anyway so the history doesnt really matter. I guess we will find out this summer.
You missed my godamn point and at the same time proved it. Anyway, yeah wait and see.

Smiling ear to ear as Real fell out. Makes going to the Bernebau for El Classico so much better.

As for the mexico v us thing. The US is on it's way up, Mexico is transitioning from a lot of greats retiring, to a lot of new stars emerging.

Anyone else saddened by Beckhams injury? I was looking forward to seeing him in the World Cup. I was watching the game as it happened this weekend, and it was pretty sad...

yea i am really pissed that happened to him, especially that close to the end of the game it's just not cool for that to happen to such a good player

I think it just makes the manager's decision a lot easier now. (I think he still wasn't officially on the final roster)

I had also read that grabbing an English record for being in 4 World Cups was something he was very excited about. As it is he is the 2nd highest capped English National player. He has 115, only 10 behind the top record of Shilton's with 125.

Maybe records are meh, but it (reportedly) meant a lot to him. I remember when he passed Bobby Moore a bit back.

Also lol at soccer rumors. I love reading them. "Kaka to return to Milan! Pato to replace him at Real!" and "Higuain set to leave after fight with Ronaldo!"

There wasn't a guarantee he was even going to make the team, and if he made the team he wasn't going to be a starter.

In other news, MLS players decided to strike if deal isn't made. That can only be bad for them, unions are awesome.

Achilles Tendon is serious stuff, surprised with 4 month estimate honestly...generally it keeps player away for at least 6 month.

Especially when you consider his age...

It's a blow but not a major blow for England really (not too sure about AC Milan). He is/was a fringe player at the most but with Cole still injured Capello has to decide between Lennon and Walcott (and possibly Johnson, I don't know) to fill the right midfield position. It's a shame because I don't think Hargreaves is going to be considered for the position because of lack of performances this season (injury, rehabilitation, etc), and he's one of the players I personally rate.

He seems to really bring AC Milan to another level, ties the team together, inspires them. At least that is my impression after watching the change in the teams last year and this year.

In other news... Eto'o scores! 10 mins to go and Chelsea may be on their way out of Champions League! They need 2 goals. Losing at Stamford. What a year this is turning out to be for the big boys in CL!

Lol would you look at that... 2nd year in a row that Drogba goes out of the Champion's League with a red card (supposed stamp). Nicely done Drogba.
