Agreed, and almost another '1st minute goal' only from Bayern in the 2nd.

That is why I like Sir Alex "Mehhhh I think we scored too early, we didn't even work for it. We are doing okay, but no more than okay."

    DO BETTER

EDIT: Such a good attacking game! Back and forth near constantly, with the only breaks being when a keeper can actually get their hands on the ball. Altintop is doing worlds better this half.

EDIT2: Two goals for Rooney! Too bad they were for different teams. =)

    92' EDIT: Wow. Ok then.

the ending of that game was gold. ManU loses, and if Rooney hurt his metatarsal, England is pretty much done for the WC.

edit: actually it looks like a really bad twisted ankle, but then those things tend to linger. especially with a bum knee.

Yeah as much as they were throwing around '1999' it was bound to happen. I blame Andy & Martin...

Last i checked Ivory Coast doesnt have a coach 3 months before world cup yet, gonna be hard for them to make a competitive team at this rate.
They just signed Sven Goran Eriksson.

I can't stand either team but it was entertaining. The first goal by Zlatan was awesome, the Walcott goal was pretty weak and just shows you once again Valdes isn't a world-class keeper...

The Puyol penalty/red card was somewhat harsh and puts barca in a huge bind at CB for the second leg in England, which should be very interesting with no Fabregas as well.

The second leg is in Barca, I'm contemplating flying over for it since I'll be in Europe anyway. I don't think the back will be all that big of a deal, Rafa and Pique.

I think Barca is in great position to beat Arsenal.

Messi is just ridiculous. Anybody know where I can see the replays? Stupid Fox Soccer Channel sucks... mostly because I don't have it.

Edit: nvmd... somebody put on youtube since last I checked.

Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans win.

Man Utd has nobody to blame but themselves honestly, they had leads in both legs and blew it two times in a row..
