Salvage Drop III: No drop? Suck Less

We bring a brd, our 7 person setup is always RDM, WHM, BRD, THF, MNK, MNK, SAM. We have our BRD SV troub+night and sing before we port up to 6f... and then kill as fast as we can. Like I said, we are still new, and we're getting so much faster with each run that in another few weeks i'll be bitching more about lack of rat drops than a tree ruining my 6f pop.

I do appreciate your perspectives, though.

I showed this to the guy who's been after legs in my ls for almost 2 years now. The sound he made on vent was hilarious, to say the least.

To the new group in AR, I would use HFist on the ramparts as you are doing. Helps cut down time on tree's a lot.

I may have understated the difficulty. It can be a challenge for newer groups, especially considering you all probably have little/no salvage gear (big deal considering you are using mnks and sam as dd). Most of the long time members in my group are working on their second set. It took my group a little while to build up to the point where we could reliably pop the 6f rats, so if you just recently started and are doing it now, great! (I should mention I only had nin75 when I started salvage, lol)

One final thing that can help a ton is storm fife for your bard if they still need it.

The whole pchan lulzing at brds in salvage had more to do with people saying they NEEDED brd when it's more like brd is nice to have but the brd going missing one day wont stop you from being able to win no matter how good you think you are. Kinda like how saying that you need 6 to win in nyzul when you're clearing with 15~20 minutes when you run into a group without a gimp.(the 20 minutes thing doesn't happen often as i dont spam nyzul but did happen before)
