Wow Ares legs and Usu body in same run, jesus..

I still have never seen Ares legs drop off Gyro. Dropped like once for our LS, and I wasnt there to see it. Still only 3 or 4 out of 250+ on turtle >.>.

As for the drop statistics: If you hit all NMs in each zone every run, we tend to average one 35 piece every 4 runs. Random shit is random however as it took me about 1.5 years to get first Usu body to drop, 1 year to get first Morrigan's robe to drop.. (then got back to back drops after those >.>).

On another note, my first day back to salvage since my deployment and we got Marduk 35 feet (finish set for member) and Skadi hands.

You can say it's possible that Morrigan Feet and Morrigan Robe would even out to the same number of drops per run so to compensate for 4 QQTHs, then 6F Madame should have a higher drop rate. I guess according to wiki this is true, but the thing is that while the QQTHs do have a rather low drop rate, it's not abyssal like pre-patch SSR or old Sozu.

If you assume a 4% drop rate on robe, that means you have an 15.1% chance of getting one robe each time you enter Arrapago with the possibility of getting multiple if you are lucky. I don't have the data to back it up obviously, but the drop rate on Morri shoes or ( any other 35 for that matter) just doesn't seem that high.

This isn't exactly right. You have the chance at a 4% item 4 times, that doesn't make it 16% each run automatically. It's too early to think of the math for it, but it's nowhere near that %. Saying it's right is like saying a 50% drop with 2 monsters in the zone will guarantee you a drop 100%.

Just saying.

Feel free to correct my math since the last probability class I took was in 2004, but I calculated it as the chance of getting at least 1 robe to drop is equal to 1 - the probability of no robes dropping. Again assuming the 4% drop rate on a robe, that would mean there's a 96% chance that nothing drops. So 1-.96^4 = 0.15065344 or ~15.1% as Derock implied. I didn't just do 4%*4 otherwise I would have put 16% in my post. I'm guessing the 5-7% is he's calculating the probability of exactly 1 robe and not at least 1 robe dropping.

Before you guys get all crazy, I realize I didn't debuff composure in the Macha's Slops screenshot. Also, I just found out how to remove the plugin stuff last night. Please don't kill me.

We still have 2 more SSRs this week and 5 more next week. We'll probably not get any more drops because Random's drops are random.

I once lost a pair of Morrigan Pigaches to a BLU (She had no mage jobs/plans to level them, but we got a bunch and I think everyone just assumed she wouldn't be a bitch and let me have them since I was lotting Marduk.) who insisted she would use them, over me, the groups Red Mage.
