Most people are probably just really hoping they're not that lazy with salvage gear.

Probably the main reason ingots went from 30k to 150k after the tweet only to drop back to 50k after the byakko's pic, lol.

So no one paid atention to the part where they said they had been preparing multiple ways to upgrade gear? They specifically said that some of it would be trial related and some of it wouldn't be. Just because sky gear appears to be upgraded via synergy doesn't mean salvage gear will be done the same way.
