i personally just don't like voidrays at all.
i do love when noobs go mass voidrays in 3v3s or something thinking that they're so OP and awesome but fail to realize they're just down right terrible in straight combat without charges.
so i've played about 10 games in practice league, i'm probably 3w, 6l and a d/c. i can barely beat the computer on hard w/ faster setting. which league does that sound closest too? should i skip the rest of practice league and just start up?
might as well just start up and get some bronze games in to work up your strats and skills. Losses don't really matter too much, in fact most players that are even plat or diamond have near even or just above even win ratio.
Your welcome to join me in Bronze league! I'll get outta bronze someday...
Is hard the 2nd-hardest AI? If that's the case, and you beat the hard computer without abusing the AI, I'd say you're at least a Silver, maybe even Gold. You might lose a lot when you start playing humans due to different strategies they'll use, but some of your core mechanics should be good enough for Silver or Gold.
So when people say 13 pool, they mean once you get your 13th drone, you go make it into spawning pool right? >_> Totally behind on terminology since I was never a hardcore multiplayer in SC1.
Very hard is the 2nd highest in terms of AI, with insane at the top.
What's a typical opening build for zerg? Only played campaign junk and some maps vs. AI, so not too accustomed to what a usual build entails.
I'm in no way an expert but in bronze league most zerg players try to cheese wins by 6-pool
but if it fails Zerg economy gets pretty screwed up.
not trying to be a smart-ass, but i would search youtube, http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=zerg+opener
lots of well explained vids about sc2 basics
i wish campaign mode had a zerg mission set, like protoss/zeratul. i have no clue how to play zerg.
Found a pretty good video from that link, thanks.
I personally am liking 2 different starting as zerg. 11 drone to OV or 9 Drone OV. Both come out to be pretty much the same. I turn that into 13 pool or 14 gas 14 pool, depends on who i am playing, and what map it is. From there i get about 10 lings. and Expand from there, and hope for a good harass with my speedlings. Good Luck with zerg, funnest and toughest race to play IMO!
How do I know what my ID number is? Just got out of a match against a terran dude and he kept accusing me of being ranked, whereas it was my 4th league placement match or whatever.
Also, where on earth is my replay folder or where ever you save replay at? Trying to watch some replays I downloaded but no idea where to place them.
Well I found my ID... saw misuicide's sig and eventually figured it out lol. Still can't find anything resembling a replay folder though.
My Documents > Starcraft 2 > Accounts > next 2 folders > Replay
Tonight is not a good night for SC T_T
I have not encountered another zerg player whatsoever. Seems to be terran terran terran and maybe a protoss once in a while. Guess the missions got people used to terran style.
not really most of the games are terran because it's easier to play and in long games terran get's overpowered units that most toss or zerg can't defend against...
love when you're doing random 2v2s and your partner leaves at start of match and your opponent says "GG" like it's an easy win and then you stomp them.
zerg zerg (me) vs zerg protoss. they tried to early rush and i was like LAWL BANELING SPLODE SPINECRAWLER TENTACLE RAPE into ling hydra ownage.
did a 2z v 2t earlier today was pretty good match up. My partner was total noob kept yelling at me to attack their front wall with my ultras and losing all of his hydras so when one terran went BCs at the end it was up to me to hydra corrupter pwn them.
i don't understand why players run their units into a terran wall and get mutilated by siege tanks?
