The only thing you have to be careful about is to not get overrun with fleshly made canon. Let's say the guy build 5 new canon in range of the spine. You will be able to kill 2 at least (they will be cancelled), but the other 3 will eventually be completed and kill that single spine. To prevent this, just hit the drone twice as it get in range to build canon. Two spines definitively make it a lot more managable thought.


If you ever play protoss, it's the same deal. The best counter to canon is more canon next to your nexus/building to block the push. Stalker can work better at time, but usually, dropping a forge immediatly after you see the canon push work the best.


On terran, let him push, then lift off and move to the safest expand while building reaper. Once you get 2 reapers (or more), it's usually gg.

I have 2 friends that work at blizzard pretty cool. For blizzcon there is going to be about 20 or so maps released after it ends. Pretty much its going to be the revs maps going deeper into the editor so that's retty cool. Also 2 more days till i play as i am on vacation. Catch ya soon!

How big of a gap is it between a platinum and a diamond player/league? Just had a run-in with a plat terran and he wasn't all that great >_>

Its a pretty big difference. I rarely ever lose to a plat player. I would say the 1-10 plats are good. Anything lower probably not. Playing diamonds is where its at. You'll find crappy players in any league so just always play hard just incase

Depends, low diamonds like 300-500 could be beat by high plats but once diamonds get into the 1500s shit gets crazy.

Yeah I'd say there is a bigger gap between low diamond (like <600) and high diamond (1200+) than there is between say gold and low diamond. Then there is another huge gap between High Diamond and actual pro's.

Just put it that way. If youre playing against someone in 1v1, it's because the game decided he is around your skill level. You will rarely get outmatched completely in a match.

Ok so weirdest thing happened today: I've been going back and doing all the achievements for the missions, and I got up to Break The Shroud mission (Hidden Mission) beat the mission with the achievements. After I completed the mission, I had 23/26 missions completed and couldn't access the final missions. I've had to REDO Gates of Hell, Shatter the Sky, etc etc.. Anyone know why this is?

You probably reloaded an old file, which brough you back to the point you were after Break the shroud mission (basically, before the final planet)

I suppose I must've. Oh well, gave me a chance to get all the achievements on Gates of Hell and Shatter the Sky. Just need a few more achievements for all of them. Think I'm down to that one on The Dig mission, the Welcome to the Jungle ones, Belly of the Beast, and 1 more on All In (Only use artifact once). Tried it today for shits, got to like 80% but fucked up major cause I wasn;t paying attention

Dont forget the feat of strength! There is 3 ( clear all building in the mission where they introduce reapers, clears all building in welcome to the jungles, and kill the big nasty zerg in the secret mission with A.R.E.S)

Just had a matchup against yet another platinum, and was my most intense game thus far >_>!!! Does this mean it'll keep matching me up against more plats or something?

It will always toss you against people with similar rating. If your rating is around platinum, you will fight low platinum and high gold mostly

I swear the whole 5 placement matches are the lamest things ever... 4 out of 5 2v2 games me and my buddy got paired against plat or higher people and just got ROLLED over...I know I suck but jesus lord. Needless to say, Im bronze...Need some more people to play with though..
