I haaate stalker. It's the combo I hate the most, and by a lot. It's just so powerful and easy to make.

Roach+hydra works relatively well against mass stalker, otherwise, mass baneling+anything in support can usually clear a big group.

If they come with collosus, just bend over.

If you are expecting the colossus, which you should, try to get corrupters asap. If they are still taking their sweet time arriving at your base, try to get broodlords. If you do, try and go on the offensive with them asap, cause hitting protoss first when they have the ground army of death is key to winning.

BL/Roach/Ling works good against mass stalker. cause if they blink to the BLs, they are completly surrounded, and die so fast

Problem I've had with that is you see 3-4 colossus and build up a bunch of corrupters.. then they're chillin with a shit ton of stalkers too, and make mincemeat of your expensive fliers.

Let them chill, that's their fault. Their priority once they see corrupters should be to not let you get broodlords. Mass stalker can protect their colossus from some corrupter, but broodlords will own them both.

ok Toss players, help me out here, i suck ass with toss, lol i mean i'm ok, but i need to evolve from mass stalker. It feels so cheesy to me, i hate playing that way. I'm mainly zerg, but i feel knowing how to play all races helps me win against all races

I feel your pain. I absolutely hate mass stalker (when im doing them just as much as getting destroyed by them). Templar/archon can work pretty well against player with inferior microing, but the moment you fight someone with even skill or better, it rarely end up. Phoenix+zealot is great against zerg if you managed to block their expansion, and is relatively easy to micro.

Just lost three games in a row against fucking bronze scrubs and I have no idea how the hell I could've beaten that, I feel so shitty right now. First guy went 3 rax early pressure with marines onto 5 rax MMM, which I usually destroy by getting banelings+speedlings and a handful of roaches, but he had just so many units I couldn't keep up with it. When I play zerg I just can't seem to make enough units in time, my minerals keep building up once I get my natural. I honestly think I'm making too many workers and not enough units, but when I do slack on the workers and get the unit count up I always get owned by faster tier 2/3 units. Without banelings I can honestly say I am helpless against a terran because I have no idea at all how to kill MMM otherwise, my speedlings get destroyed before they reach their targets and my roaches get stomped down by marauders like an autistic child fighting mike tyson.

I'm good at harassing with mutas, but I couldn't win a game with a ground army to save my life. If anybody feels like helping a shitty player out my tag is Tonyballz and I'll be on for a few hours before going back to homework.

you need to scout as zerg. If you try to tech and they are going to spam tier1 shit then you need to be ready. I hated scouting at first cause it fucked up my build but you really have to do it. Especially against toss who just try to tech like mofos and don't make any units except like 10 rays 7 minutes in.

There are a lot of things you can do to dump minerals as zerg. If you feel like you have too many drones, throw down some spine crawlers. If you don't have enough larvae to be constantly producing, consider teching to roaches. While neither of those options are super good late game, they're great early on due to their low larva cost.

Keep a ling or two out to scout the opponent's front at all times; the information you get about unit composition and movement is far more valuable than the 25-50 minerals those lings cost you. Spine crawlers build quickly enough that you can wait until literally the last second and they'll be complete soon enough to save you on anything but steppes of war and close positions on metalopolis/lost temple.

Balancing larvae vs units is easily one of the hardest things to learn as zerg, but it's especially important that you avoid situations where you're freaking out and blowing all your larvae at once when you only need half of those lings. If you know when your opponent is moving out and what they're moving out with then you should know how much you need to defend against it. If you know what you need to defend, you know how much of that larva needs to be used on units and how much can go towards building up your economy.

Or the best thing to spend minerals on... Expand! Expanding as a zerg is one of the best thing you can do. If you really have too many minerals expand your heart out. Gold and lower chances are theyll never even scout your expos; plat and higher I hope your macro is good enough to defend those expos and theyll pay for themselves really quickly; as well as increase your production by alot.

Paraphrasing day9; Always keep your resources low. If you cant macro queens well enough to do so; drop 6 inbase hatcheries to spend your money on. There is no reason to go over 1k minerals/gas.

This also applies to terran/protoss. Drop 3 robos, 10 warpgates, 10 rax, 4 ports if you cant macro very well. As your macro gets better lower the number of production facilities. Money in the bank doesnt get interest SPEND IT!

Just making sure, there is absolutely no other way to watch replays other than through logging into SC2 account > watching them right? Really annoying having to log in every time I finish watching an old replay. Would like to bypass that crap if possible.

You can always login using a guest account. Just remember to copy the replays to the right folder afterwards. It's what I've been doing now that blizzard decided to update SC2 to 1.1.3 right after MLG so every replay logs me out due to it being a previous version.

I'm guessing SC2 is broke for you all too?
