I think you're getting a little too defensive, buddy. No one said IdrA's an asshole, only that it's quite obvious he takes it more seriously than clearly anyone else in the spotlight. BM's probably the dumbest part of the SC2 community. If I lose a game to somebody I don't like in a way that I find is cheesy/stupid/easy then yeah, I'm going to leave without a gg, and if they egg me on(Idra gets trolled a LOT on his stream) then I'm going to tell them to go fuck themselves. I think it's sort of sad that when a player leaves a game without a gg everyone gets up in arms.. it's really not that horrible lol.

Also, it's pretty unfair to generalize someone's personality from a couple 5-15minutes games that have 1-5 lines of chat. Nobody here has seen him slamming his mouse or keyboard when losing or punching walls like day9, so "raging baby" is a bit of a stretch, imo. But everyone here has seen him articulating himself well in interviews, his show, and SoTG.

This entire IdrA argument is semantics. BM doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. IdrA won't hesitate to call a bad player bad, even in an interview. Some people think that's BM; I think it's just telling it like it is. As it stands, he's one of the most qualified people in the world to make the call on whether someone is actually good at the game, or just has one or two gimmicky all-ins that catch people off guard more often than not.

Also, to some people, leaving without a gg is a ragequit. If you watch his stream though, he NEVER ggs, even if the game WAS good. He just doesn't find it important, and that's NOT a big deal. It's just his thing. He ggs in tournaments because people make a huge deal of it if he doesn't, but that's it. When he feels like commentating after a match, he explains why he might have lost (or won) a given game. If he's pissed off during those commentaries, then I sure as hell can't tell, cause he sounds calm and collected and nicely analytical to me.

That's not to say that he never gets pissed, and never falls into insulting his opponents, but that's just being human (and it doesn't happen nearly as much as people seem to believe. It just happens to ALWAYS get publicity when it does). Besides, the insults are pretty much always true. If he calls someone a cheesy douchebag that will never win anything, he's probably right. People who just go on ladder and cheese/all-in every game just because their opponent is random and they can get away with it are terrible. They'd never win a bo5, and probably not even a bo3 against anyone that actually understands the game deeper than the flavor-of-the-month all-ins.

Think of IdrA as the Dr. House of SC2 (Hell, he even has the same first name!).

A little off the current topic... I just found out about the grid controls in the game. My question is, is it easier to work on my macro with the grid setup or one of the other settings? With the defaults i find myself all over the keyboard and it just slows me down. I am a bronze league player but i'm working on improving my macro and maybe someday i'll get out of bronze hehe.
