lo)!L0o!lO01Lo)!l nANIWA said in an interview "If my opponent sits back and lets me do what I want, I will win." uhhhhhhhhh you fucking FFE every single goddamn game almost. It was HILARIOUS watching Leenock own this trash. I personally hate naniwa, I think he is a huge doucher, walks like a slow downy and has a long fat face. He called Nestea an idiot. Ummm, WAT?! The entire finals every single time I saw the FFE I lol'd.
Leenock is an aggressive zerg player. He is in my opinion, a better julyzerg. Games were awesome.
He didn't call nestea an idiot, where did you hear that? Oh, artosis said it? >.> you didn't even consider him being wrong?
There's a huge thread on TL explaining it all, complete with naniwa interview after the second win, naniwa's tweets, naniwa and nestea hangin' in lounge together after, etc etc.
He does walk around like a downy though, not because it's slow imo, but because he doesn't know where his arms go when he walks and he looks retarded(especially when he did that fake hand-shake with DRG). I'm fairly certain he has some kind of social/mental disorder. Not severe or anything, but he just acts strange.
and I'm pretty sure he thought he could hold off all of those early attacks. In the tal'darim game he sent 2 zealots to their death to scout exactly like he did against nestea. He saw the roaches coming from nestea mid-map and was able to hold it off with extra cannons. Leenock killed his shit with a lot of zerglings(which should have been a tell.. what else would he make so many zerglings for?) and kept his roaches out of range. Other all-ins either went unscouted, underprepared for, or small mistakes happened. I still think if the P plays perfectly the all-ins will fail - but that's considering the zerg can't deny required scouting from protoss.. so I dunno.
And considering he and DRG practice together a lot I figured DRG knew all-ins wouldn't work, or they haven't in the past. Also, naniwa did this 5 times after getting all-in'd in the beginning every time, so I figure he thought he just made mistakes and could hold off any all-in.
Well quite literally he did:
He did backtrack later:In an interview after that game, NaNiwa commented about a seemingly quick drone pull NesTea made during their 3rd game: "I thought that he would do some smart shit, [...], I thought he was that genius but apparently he's just an idiot. What he did made no sense."
In twitter posts and a later interview, NaNiwa stated that he was "caught up in the moment" and "didn't mean any disrespect". He also stated: "He showed he is a very smart player, obviously, since he won 3 GSLs. He can't be stupid."
Idk if it's so much backtracking(as in having an "oshit" moment and changing your story to better suit the public) as it is clarification.
Naniwa is a real life L.

maybe it's me who assumed too much
"backtracking" is supposed to be negative, right? and done only to save your public image - pretty much lying. but because naniwa seems like a humble guy who's made it seem like he thinks mvp/nestea are better I assumed "he's an idiot" really meant nestea lost because he played like an idiot, and not because he was, and is, an idiot.
what do I care though, naniwa's kind of an embarrassing image of the sc2 scene because everybody's going to see a downy child who gets upset over the tiniest of things and has to have people calm him down before he gets disqualified.
Naniwa seems like a humble guy? He's come off as arrogant any time I hear him talk. Even his play is arrogant. He thought he could do FFE all weekend and still win because he thought his micro and building placement was so good no one could punish him for it even after the same greedy play vs zerg is exactly what got him bounced from GSL.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the guy, I just don't see how he comes off humble.
Games any one? Just got a G500 and I really want to try it out :3
Any way to watch MLG? I was watching it on the site and then it just cut out. Again. Damn it. >(
Edit: Also anyone see Huk vs Leenock? Holy balls that first game was excitement.
In previous interviews when he's asked who's the best and stuff like that he said people not-himself - probably mvp/nestea but I don't remember.
but yeah, he's arrogant - but I'd go further and say he's childish. And children are arrogant. I would be surprised to hear naniwa isn't mentally handicapped in one way or another. I don't hate him either, but he looks and acts retarded more times than not
Since we're on topic of player's behavior, does HuK's act a bit effeminate to anyone else? Seen a few vids of him and it felt that way to me sometimes lol.
Cmon, no games any one?
I was on yesterday and today no one was on. In other news I did my placement match vs a rank 10 Bronze i won and got placed 96th bronze FML... Anyway i've only lost 2 out of 9 games and i'm back at 16 bronze one of the matches was vs a silver league player which i won btw.
Same, lol. Except, I have more than 2 weeks... right? Right? FUCK I HAVE SO MUCH FUCKING SHIT I NEED TO FINISH BEFORE THIS SEMESTER ENDS THERE MUST BE MORE THAN 2 WEEKS
gogogogogo jojo! :D
Also, you always get placed at the bottom of your new division. All it means is that the only points you have is from the game you played, and everyone in your division had more points than you.
That's pretty much me 4 weeks ago.Same, lol. Except, I have more than 2 weeks... right? Right? FUCK I HAVE SO MUCH FUCKING SHIT I NEED TO FINISH BEFORE THIS SEMESTER ENDS THERE MUST BE MORE THAN 2 WEEKS.
