Hey guys, BG lurker here >.< my brother just gave me his jailbroken 3Gs Iphone and I was wondering if anyone knows how to watch SC2 streams via Iphone? Are there any free apps to watch JTV streams? I see the JTV app for 5$ if its my only option anyone have any experience with it, does it lag/stutter etc.

ok so im bored of terren and i think that toss gets a lot of things that would make my life a LOT easier. Any advice on a starting toss? Basics i know are:


Storm rapes shit
Immortas if opponet going for things like tanks,thors, immortals (not sure of zerg units)
clossis if opponet going squishy units like rines, zerglings (not sure of portoss)
storm rapes shit (can it really hurt your own troops? if so how do i keep my zelots out of the mix?)
detectors are important :/

I'd wouldn't recommend switching races based purely on something like what you posted above, because you can do that kind of theoretical "counters" for all match-ups.

For example, you'll never see someone going only tanks and thors, or only marines. They'll likely have marines and one (or both) of the other two. Based on what you posted, you'd go Collosi + Immortal against Marine + Tank. All things being equal, you're probably going to close that encounter. EDIT: Not to mention you have nothing to shoot back against the Vikings that they'll most certainly have.

That being said, I do think Protoss is easier of those two races, and I'd start off with a 1 base, 2 gate robo or a 3 gate expand build. <<< I haven't played in a while, I hope that's not outdated advice.

practice forcefields in the Darglein's Micro Trainer UMS. Hold the Ramp, not FF survival.

Don't put too much weight in your rank, they reset every season anyway, and if you get caught up in your rating and winning individual games, it can get in the way of improving in the long run. Besides, if you drop into bronze, it'll give you more opportunities to play around with the new race.

Get used to ff is really the best advice at lower levels. You can get away at that level with a moving if you master the basics of a strong economy and macro.

It doesn't reset every season. Your MMR doesn't reset unless you don't play for 2 seasons. Season changes just weed out inactive players mostly, and reset grand masters.

Oh yea, it uses your previous season's rating to place you when a new season begins. Sorry for the wrong info. The point remains, though--don't get too worked up about it.

Protoss generally has less units than the other two races, but as a result it has the most efficient splash damage in Collosi/HTs. This places more emphasis on micro. If you think micro is your strength, it could work out for you.

with toss Im just so slow to get going.... around 26 food with only the sentery/stalker/zelot while waiting for warp to research .... one i get going i can hold my own pretty well its just geting off the ground...

I've started working on the 4 gate with a stalker/sentery or stalker/sentery/zelot to hold till my gates done so its helping a bit. but omg toss so much more fun
