For those interested, the way MLG passes work on Twitch accounts allows multiple logins. BG could split a pass 20-ways for $1 each.

I'd throw in whatever my portion would be for this, trying to find a restream not going well.

The split account thing got nerfed. It was working for a while but I guess they found out how many people were doing it and people got kicked from streams.

This was my situation as well. Probably going to continue to scrounge for some restreams and hit up a barcraft tomorrow, but I do hope they at least lower the price for the next arena. A $10 price point would, I think, be a bit easier to rationalize even as someone who paid for gold.

Some are saying you need AdblockPlus and some form of No Script, but I don't have them and have it on quad view in incognito. Also not logged in, but not sure that would matter.

That thread has some workarounds that apparently work but restream is the only one that works for me. No combination of adblock/adblockplus, cookies, incognito, twitch or mlg.com fixes have worked for me. Sometimes they work for just a few minutes but the paywall eventually appears.
