That whole mini-tournament was quite impressive. I've seen quite a few proleague matches, and the amount of improvement I've seen since the start out of these guys (particularly jd/flash/bisu) is just ludicrous. Flash could already probably start a run in the GSL (at the very least I could easily see him making it through a code B qualifier with the right bracket), and that's after only like 2-3months with this game. Unbelievable.

I was pleasantly surprised. The hype was warranted, imo. There were times where flash wasn't microing the stuff that was on camera which kind of made me frown. But past that the army movement was nice to look at.

Too often casters try too hard to sell something to the audience (as if they have to). Every other match is the BEST ONE THEY HAVE EVER SEEN. Or, THIS PLAYER IS SO GOOD HE CAN'T LOSE. What sucks is most casters do it. Cheapens the event for me and sort of takes me "out" of the experience.

There was a single elim kespa tourney at MLG on Saturday. Flash, bisu, jaedong were all there, and flash won without dropping a map.

Impressive. I try to watch both, but the GSL just goes so late sometimes, I can't. I still do it to watch hero play at least, but that didn't turn out so well last night

Flash's keyboard wasn't working for his first game against Stork, and he still micro'd a perfect SCV/Marine with mouse only lol

flash said in the interview afterwards that his keyboard, "malfunctioned" and so he played only with the mouse and it's why he decided to all-in. But he planned for a macro game before entering the booth.

Or something like that. But I'm very certain he said his keyboard didn't work and that's why he all-in'd on a whim

Yeah he was asked about this several times and it was confirmed to be true. The other stuff tastosis were saying were jokes, but the keyboard part was real.
