damn i just finished my placement matches last night and got diamond 5-0 and then rank 6 in my league... now to do them again and realize i should have been in copper

Wow that nitro pack lowered research cost is a bit OP. I mean reapers are already annoying if you're a good controller, now you can get that a lot earlier, crazy stuff. I'm a terran player and I think thats pretty OP.

Reapers are not OP as it stands they are just powerful against an unprepared player and the most potent against Protoss as lings can keep up with them along with a queen nearby to help and Terran has all ranged units so if they built a few marines the rush won't be too effective. Protoss it's a real threat as anyone who uses cannons or doesn't have a stalker or 2 ready by the time they enter your base your going to lose a lot of probes.

The reason behind the buff is that they NEED the upgrade or just about anything will catch them and since they are pretty weak when not fighting buildings they are needed. Also no one I have seen builds them late game because they are only really useful as a surprise and like someone mentioned, sniping expansions but I find that using my army to do that better then wasting resources on a few to hope they don't have a small force or cannons.

Why would you be in copper league? It's not hard to play in gold+ like I am now. Hell, I could probably get plat or diamond league easily if I played more games as I win 75%+ of my matches now.

Also I am digging this new super reaper rush as TvP, it owns so hard and I have yet to lose using it.

I rendered it but the quality it shit and I want it to be better so I am re-rendering it and its gonna take about an hour and its already 5am so I will have it up for tomorrow. The video also has me voice some commentary so don't rate it too harshly when I get it up on youtube.

They are changing placement, even 5-0s won't make diamond now, and sometimes barely make gold. The point being, I guess, for the higher leagues to be only accessible after working your way up from lower leagues. To be honest, not that bad of a system, puts less pressure on the ranking matches, and makes people realize they aren't really that much more important than the matches that will follow.

For reference, my 2v2 team went 5-0 and got platinum'd (we had hit #1 diamond a couple times before we started playing a lot more 3s, 4s, and customs).

With the reaper fun, i send in 3 mars to the front of a toss's base, then i hit his workers with reapers, cause they are busy with my mars, even if they have a cannon, its not gunna stop 4-5 reapers. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DAMAGE!

Yes but with good micro, the speed boost and the ability to hop cliffs its very hard, if at all possible, to trap your reaper.

eww i desevered to get owned in my 3v3 earlier today. We were all fucking around, I went mass nukes, buddy was mass robo haha, and our 3rd is learning to play. needless to say, we got owned, but not after i got a nuke or 3 off in there bases. haha

I hate 3v3, 4v4 and even some of the 2v2 maps where both you and your partner are the farthest possible from your opponent and that causes it to be a giant 200/200 fuck fest massive army fight because people wall in/cannon up which with 2 people doing it makes rushing very hard if not impossible.
