there's a fix for the video card issue actually
Go into Documents/Starcraft II/Variables.txt
and check for the lines:
frameratecap=60
frameratecapGlue=30
if you don't have them, add them.

The story is fucking terrible.
Damn, the last protoss mission on Brutal was hard . I wanted to save the Archive at first, but after 4 attempts, I said fuck it. I'm not sure how I could possibly do it? The hybrid are tearing me apart around the 10 minutes mark. Storm isnt cutting it, phoenix get rapped with all the anti air around , there is overseer everywhere for dt
Also, for the 8 hours achievement, can I simply beat every missions on normal after I beat the game, or I need to start all over? I dont want to lose my save files on brutal (or can you load it again after).
I agree, but at least, most of them were pretty fun and original. I dont mind the farming that much, but I wish they would have made it independant from the story, instead of mixing everything together.
Idk if this 100% accurate, since haven't done it myself, friend said he finished game went bck into archives and did them in normal, and got it like that,
Also Since been awhile since i finished woundering if iremember this correctly:

lol, this thread ain't shit compared to Call of Duty one(and probably others), yet we have a Starcraft II forum. Smart.
I will wait for another confirmation before repeating every missions..but that's weird since you can skip mission. Is total time written anywhere in game? I want to check if it can be improved by repeating the mission.
Zerg and protoss were created by the Xel Naga. Terran simply found the zerg and experimented on them, but they have little to do with the current outbreak. Mensgk did wipe a planet to get people on his side, but the whole zerg thing isnt his doing.
Hybrid weren't created by human. In SC1, it was Duran, an infested human serving a greater power (the Fallen one?) that was doing it. Of course, he was manipulating human at that time, but they are only a mean too an end. In SC2, it's probably Duran and Mengsk's son that doing it (you know that guy has a god complex and is retarded enough to pull that shit).
on the archives it does show your time, for each single mission.
16 missions in and im around 5 hours.
Then again I was getting all the research and all the achievements I missed on each one.
I'm going to finish it up and see where my time stands, I think this is going to be pretty easy since there are a handful of missions no matter how well you do are going to be a set length like the escort ones ect.
Ok I just played the weirdest game ever where a Toss on Delta Quadrant went forge first into mass cannons into Stargate/Robo and just massed Void Rays and Colossi. Then after staying in his base the whole game (I actually had an scv at this ramp that didn't die till he moved out finally with like 150 supply worth of them) he moves out and proceeds to get rocked by my vikings and then just left. This is in Diamond and somehow this guy has a record of 14-5 and his main race is protoss. Am I missing something and people are actually trying to win with this, or is this guy just off his rocker.
I'm on the same mission as you Kaylia. I'm doing it on hard though. First attempt I saved the archive but lost overall, and every attempt since I've just flat out lost. I gotta find a better strategy, closest I can get is about 1770.
Just finished campaign. Was a decent story altogether, had a few hiccups here and there but I liked it. I'm pissed though that we have to wait a fucking year for the zerg missions and then another year for the wrap up to the story. The wait in my eyes is retarded, i'll play them when they come out sure but I would have honestly rather have gotten all 3 within 2-3 months of each other. (Groundwork is all there, just have to put some CG/cutscenes in there.)

What kind of co-op is available in this? My roommate just got it, and I'm getting the itch.
You can play 2v2 against the computer or against other people on the ladder. There's also 3v3 and 4v4. No co-op for the campaign though.
On hard, I was able to save the archives, and win, but on brutal, it's just impossible. Hell, you probably hit 2500 enemy before the timer end.
On hard and brutal, it went like this
I take the gold expand as soon as the game start, build more forge/cybernetic core and start pumping out collosus and templar (occasionally toss a DT). When templar are out of mana, I merge them. To protect the gold expansion, I build canons behind 2 gateway that block the path and summon as many templar/dt/archon as needed. For the other 2 entrance, I'm using my main group and build as many canon as I can produce (both on the ramp and on the groud). When I could, I was also tossing 2 gateway to block the path, since they have a lot of hp and give you more time to react. When Void ray show up, I mass produce them with 4-5 stargate. In brutal, it was around that time I gave up on the archive and went back to the higher ground. When carrier show up, switch to them.
Basically, templar/collosus --> void ray --> carrier and fill the place with canon when you can.
As long you have phoenix, lift off as many hybrid as you can to buy time. Also, save between every waves in case you lose too many units
No co-op mission. Co-op means human team vs computer. I wouldnt hold back on the game for this though.
Edit: Nvm.
