ZvP and i scouted 3 gate + 2 SG so i went ling > hyrda. lost to 3 DT cause he hid the DT tower out of his base....

One mistake he made was seeing that he had air and made ONE spore crawler at his 3rd base and NOWHERE else.

Also when HD said he blocked off with the evolution chamber he didn't and left 1 space to walk around both sides which is stupid if your trying to protect your drones.

He should have made a spore behind the minerals, a spine by his minerals to block off and walled with the chamber and he wouldn't have lost all the drones and that expansion which probably cost him the game.

Also note the terran player did something I haven't seen which is hella smart and thats wall off with a uncompleted supply depo at 1% just to make the wall stick so they can't see your tech without taking another SCV off to stop mining. Only bad thing is if he spots it and attacks it killing it and wasting 100 minerals of yours.

Yeah, Idra had to deal with a similar build in his more recent match against Sarens at gamescon and he really showed how to be prepared for it even if you can't scout it very early.

I'm not saying tvz doesnt need a change, but the zerg expanded late, and could never read the terran well (helion worked, banshee worked, the marine drop worked). Also, you have to give some credit to the terran. His microing and timing was really good near the end.

People complain about the mech, but it's everything else than won him the game.

not that TvZ is 100% balanced, but that game shows off a lot more just how good that terran player is than any kind of race imbalanced, he just totally outplayed the zerg

Don't forget most of these pro's have been playing for 5+ years with broodwar and months and months of beta of SC2.

If your new just try and learn from the replays and watch what they do to get an idea of what you can do to improve.

Yeah Sarens isn't even comparable to this guy though. I watched those matches, it was funny how polite Idra seeemed to be even though he doesn't respect them as players. Where is the Idra rage guys?

Yeah, but the zerg was playing catching up the whole times. I would like to see a game where he is ahead early.

The TLO vs Nada showmatch at the start of this morning's IEM was epic! Even when they use tactics that everyone knows about, they're just executed so incredibly smooth that my jaw drops....

Man, Nada had been playing for only TEN DAYS when he did that showmatch. And he played like a pro, particularly in the Steppes game. It's too bad a stream got leaked to Korea, would have liked to see the conclusion of the final game even if TLO was ahead.

Fix reaper pathing for fuck sake, that glitch is really annoying (when they get stuck midmap or in ramp). I'm not sure if collosus get stuck as well, but its so annoying.

seems like collosus pathing is treated just like an air unit (cept where there is a chasm) in that it doesn't slow down on ledges, where reapers do, and they can only deal with ledges of a certain height

I guess. Anyway, problem is reaper getting stuck everywhere, even in normal terrain that every other unit go around...its annoying.

and omg, game 2 is fuckin amazing, the supposed good games we've all been watching so far are just a prelude to the real pro scene that's starting to unveil

It's funny too, because Nada's play that game is just a glimpse into the skill of the major BW progamers. To know that first of all, he had only played SC2 for about 10 days, and second of all, his current skill/speed/game awareness is pretty significantly below the current top BW players (like jaedong/flash), the potential is pretty crazy.

I really hope Koreans eventually catch onto SC2 fully. Just watching stc v jungjoo or whatever with those marines attacking at different spots exploiting how strong/mobile marines can be with dropships/medics, it's very reminiscent of BW and I'm surprised we haven't seen this kind of dropship play from many 'pro' terrans in the west. We just see these boring balls.

Anyone know where I can watch Nada v TLO?
