He's trying to get them to do it automatically probably. The Korean scene has a lot of that since the fan clubs for the two players/teams on stage usually comprise the majority of the seating. So everytime a game starts, each club leads a cheer for their side. Seems like day is trying to push that concept outside of korea, but yeah I feel like it doesn't work too well if it isn't natural.

It doesn't help that most of the live events are set up in such a way that crown noise is actually muffled so stream viewers can hear the commentators clearly. Works pretty well for in-game situations, but it makes it sound like day is leading a failing chant and really removes a lot of the excitement from certain situations. I've seen this happen at other live events from both perspectives, and usually the crowd response is much more significant than you'd hear on the stream. The lead in the commentators provide sounds much less forced and is usually drowned out by cheers before they even finish. Not certain this is the case at the ESL, but I'm sure it sounded at least a little less awkward live.

The Concept

For those that don't know the original map, here's how it works:
On the bottom left side of the map is your starting position and right above that is a terran base. Your purpose is to create an army and destroy the enemy base. The terran will attack and/or drop you at several points in time depending on the difficulty setting. There is also a neutral unit at the island on the right side that you have to rescue and bring back to your base.

The tricky part is that in the top right side of the map you control a probe that is constantly being chased by a zergling. So you need to manage your base, defend the attacks and save the neutral unit, all while microing the probe to keep it from dying. This is a great way to practice not only your early game scouting but also your multitasking and hotkey usage.

There is also a mineral cap that you must not exceed or you loose the game, a set number of probes that you are allowed to loose and a time limit in which you have to complete the mission.

Sounds like a better solution would be more separation between the casters and the crowd, but I don't know how realistic that is considering the kind of venues esports events tend to get.

So it seems the random dropping from B.net has stopped... watch it start happening again now T_T but I come with yet another problem. While playing SC2 my screens go black, sometimes with horizontal black and gray lines and the sound of whatever happened recently loops over and over. Only way to fix it is to hard reboot... wtf mate?

there's a fix for this. starcraft 2 doesn't limit your frames automatically so you have to edit your settings inside the my documents folder but i'm not quite sure which setting to edit.

What alt said, there is an issue where SC2 can overheat your videocard, look it up on google, i'm sure you'll find the solution
