goddamn dinosaurs
I think the nerdiest stuff I was turned onto was the Dragonlance novels, never touched D&D but a friend had me read the three main ones and I got hooked. Probably my only guilty pleasure in literature
Back to Stephen King, The Long Walk, anybody read it? Incredibly depressing.
I read all of the Anne Rice vampire stuff in high school too without realizing how incredibly gay the vampires were acting, I just thought they were being european and shit
I think the nerdiest shit I read in high school was Philip K. Dick novels.
You should really check it out. I ended up reading The Long Walk while stuck at a family member's house without cable. It was pretty good.
only remotely acceptable rice book was Memnoch the Devil, mostly because it was not as homo, also less vampire
everything else has made me violently ragey
PS YOUR HUSBAND IS A BAD POET
Really morbid. 100 kids go on a walk, get 3 warnings for slowing down and you "Buy your ticket", the final kid gets a prize "Anything they want for the rest of their life". It's really sad when these side characters start growing on you, and it just keeps coming back to you that only one of these kids is gonna make it out of this book alive.
the nerdiest shit i read in high school was mary higgins clark novels my mom gave me
lol
not reading that [blurb]
gonna just read it, I like to go in with no impressions
by nerdy i meant gay
the gayest shit i read
