What does the phrase "barbecue or mildew" mean? I saw this phrase on a website and didn't understand the meaning. I googled it, but the phrase was only used, not explained.


barbecue means are you going to really do something and mildew means are you just going to sit there and play so say someone asks you if you want to go to the mall and you say yeah i want to go but i really don't know what i want to do so the saying is just another way of saying ok so are you going or what. so the person would say ok are you going to barbecue or are you going to sit there and mildew.
