What do you put in your 5.25 Bays?

My new tower has 4 5.25 bays in it. Top one has a Blu-ray player/DVDBurner in it.

    I have 3 more.

What cool stuff can I put in there?

Stuff I've already found, but isn't really practical:

What about hot swappable SATA bays? Really cool temp. monitoring? Fan controls?

Someone has to have something cool in there...

    3rd is empty-

Is your fan controller pretty good? Would you recommend it?

    What model?

I've seen that you can get little metal drawers for tools and stuff. I'm going to likely get one of those, but that leaves me 2 additional bays still...

(I put my penis in the empty floppy bay. Seemed fitting)

Only thing I'd put in one of my empty bays would be a media-card reader.

Always annoying having to get my USB one out just to transfer a couple files. Don't really see a need for anything else as I'd prefer not to have the extra power drawn from the PC.

No idea what you'd practically use it for. I imagine like someone posted above... maybe a winamp monitor or something..

Or just for lulz and bragging rights?

That monitor was originally made for a specific case they had available. It was a massive case, that involved two MB trays. One a normal ATX and the other an ITX, meant to be both a gaming and media platform. You were supposed to be able to use the mini-screen in the 5.25" bay to watch stuff while you were playing games on your big screen. The idea never really caught on though. I don't even know if that particular case is still available. It was HUGE though.

Mostly all I have in my bays are DVD drives, with the exceptions of my servers, which have HDD swaps. I use Chieftec's SATA/SAS enclosures.

dvdrw I never use, fan controller, hot-swappable hard drive cooler, last 5.25 is empty, card reader in the spare floppy bay

that mini-monitor looks cool but my case has a front door and I'm betting it costs as much as a 24" anyway :/

It does what it's supposed to do, nothing fancy. With so many fans in my system some are doubled up (ALL are controlled via the fan controller - even the 3 fans on my CPU heatsink). Also, I have the neon cathodes connected to the last toggle switch so I can easily kill those when I want instead of installing the shitty PCI cover on the back and having to reach back there everytime i wanna turn em on/off. If you want something with the temps etc readout then you're gonna have to step up to the LCD ones. Albeit the inside case temperatures shouldn't really matter. The only thing that should matter is the temps of your components in which case RealTemp and your GPU software is suffice and much better than what you would get by the temp sensors that come w/ fan controllers.

My fans are either all idle or all full bore. I have an Antec 1200 with (counting....) 11 (13 counting the fans on the GPU's) fans. So, I only crank em up whenever I am actually doing something that will warm the system up as it is no doubt loud

And wtf why won't my sig display - It shows the sig picture in my control panel >.>

Well, it might be obvious, but did you make sure the box was checked in your post?
