Game's pretty fun so far, I think I'm maybe halfway or so through the first chapter. I hate Counter though, it almost one-shots most of my characters.

This. I'm decently far in and no signs of ecchi around. I feel like I'm about to run into some problems though because I kinda coasted through the first ~8-9 hours (got lucky on one of my very first silver bullion synths and ended up with a ~900 MAG staff => equip on ellis => win everything) and now I'm a bit unevenly leveled in terms of VIT / other gear :\

Oh well, it's still a pretty fun game if you like strategy games.

I'm having fun.. at first I wanted bigger terrain modifiers, but I like the system the way it is. Unfortunately I am currently stuck probably halfway throught the first generation, trying to get back to town with 1 dead character and no way to raise them. I have like 2-3 battles to go before I get to town and if anyone else dies I have to reload.

Counter really does suck... and apparently mobs can counter for other guys too.

Counter as in Cross edge counter? If it's like that then just attack a certain number of times so the counter damage isn't high enough to 1 shot everybody.

Never played Cross Edge. And once you can spend TP, it's so easy to get money. I got 450k as soon as the option opened up. <3

The PC version of Record of Agarest War is just a couple of weeks away from release. The game’s page on Steam indicates that Agarest: Generations of War, which is the PC title, will be released on October 3rd.
