    I tried playing through it but the rom (maybe it was the emulator, idk) I used had some kinda glitch to it, couldn't get through that one forest part because there was just a solid black wall.

    FF 2 music was pretty good for its time
    Edit: had to fix link for the NES version




    the remake on Dissidia was amazing as well (not quite NES I know)

    there was a fucking ninja game i played where the ninja transformed into animals/monsters

    and no it wasnt altered beast but it was similar. i cant remember it for the life of me
