I couldn't get into the FFXI soundtrack. I'll always love the FFVI soundtrack most. Dunno, I have a hard time getting into modern video game music and I feel like that belies my overall enjoyment of music.

Eald'narche's theme didn't try to be epic for no reason, the track was a simple "Shit just got real" moment and correctly conveyed the 'gravity of the situation'.
