For British comedies I like Black Books, Bottom, Blackadder, Yes Minister/Prime Minister (these off the top of my head) also for non-series things I've taken a shine to Newswipe, Mock the Week, and We Need Answers.

Spaced, and yeah it was pretty good. Tons of nerdy references and allusions. Has Nick Frost in it too.
