I'd try a better torrent. Like I said I have 2 of them and they work absolutely wonderful, he probably got an incomplete or a fucked up torrent perhaps?

Either way he shouldn't have to go out of his way to make them work.

yeah, like i said - i don't torrent or hack anything, not my deal - and he isn't a total computer genius afaik either, so call me inexperienced. i don't think he's just not extracting the files though, that's a little too elementary.

it sounds like he just torrented a bad copy or as someone said above doesn't have matching versions, so i'm going to point him to read this thread and have him delete whatever he's got downloaded, and try again. doesn't sound like there should be an issue once he gets a correct torrent file.

First off, downloading a copy of a program or music is pirating, not hacking. And again, the problem is more likely that he isn't mounting the image properly. Go google daemon tools and read about it.

Yeah, there's a difference between not mounting something and not extracting it. It sounds like he is trying to load the .iso with Rosetta Stone, instead of mounting it and loading the image.

If you run a VB based GUI, it should fix the hacking problems by making the program read from the RAM thusly bypassing the L3 cache on CPU. By doing this it will help you run the program in a binary structure in WPA2 stranded configuration, and will make the application viable in a moble mp6 IEEE status.

Thanks for all the ideas. This is The Friend posting to clarify the issue. All the language files came in separate folders w/little .cxt audio files. I am having trouble consolidating them all into a .iso so I can mount w/virtual daemon or burn w/ alcohol 120%. I don't know what kinda program can make lots of little programs into one big one. I think, after all this effort, that ill just scrap the thing and torrent it again, maybe try the Pimsleur route as well. Thanks!

That's probably best, you shouldn't have to package it all together to make an .iso, it should come like that automatically.

Can anyone point me to a good Rosetta/Vietnamese Language pack? Im using Bitche and having little luck it seems. Ive been out of the torrent scene for long enough that all my old standby sites are gone and even when i was "into it", language discs are slightly different from old Black Adder episodes Thanks!

This has pretty much every language pack you would ever need (as well as the original software.) Simply uncheck what you don't want from the torrent.
