Chiv chain is probably the best TP neck for capped acc for monk.

Chiv chain is probably the best TP neck for capped acc for monk.

Don't see how it beats Justice Torque in capped acc, but full usu mnk is easy to cap fstr anyways, so either neck may end up doing nothing, depending on what you have in the other slots. (for example, overshooting acc and sporting flame ring in ring2)

I was more thinking about store tp, but I realised this 1 stp didn't change TP return. If you allow augments though, carapace gorget with store TP 2 can surpass plenty of neck especially combined with att/str. Also with Magian quests, chivalrous can potentially become the best neck (probably better than an augmented faith), wait and see.

Well if your acc was capped, wouldn't it be better to drop btath for wtath than to swap to a neck w/ only stp? (can get better stats in neck than ranged, so better to give up ranged, no?)

White tathlum is indeed better that black tathlum with standard buffs/debuff and assuming acc is capped. 4 att vs 2 stp ... when stp does something it's 1-2% of ws damage up, which can be 0.4%-0.8% global damage up depending on ws split. Clearly, the higher the pdif, the better the benefit of WT. Exemple :

Full usu + Rajas+ brutal : 19 stp. TP return : 5.8

with white tathlum : 5.9

5.9/5.8=1.72%

with 60%/40% split, it increases your ws by 40%*1.0172=40.688

BT : 100% + 4 attacks during mele
WT : 100.688%
In order for BT to equal WT, you need the 4 attack to increase dot by x where
40+60*x=100.688

=> x=+1.15% or 0.2875 % per 1 attack, which happens almost always with dia at least ..
