is the mabb and mnd an actual latent effect or always active? I'm guessing active and just the position of the stat is misleading?

The -2 Enmity is latent, but the augments are not. Also, has anyone else noticed that augments don't scale down in level syncs/cap battles? I'm not sure if I'm not seeing it just because I don't have a sufficiently awesome augment or for some other reason, but none of mine do.

If that's Kidrolla on Asura, that's definitely his real gear. Most Asurans wear awful shit like that, I saw a Sam entering Salvage yesterday wearing an Askar head and one of those +3/+3 stat rings with Hachiryu Haidate/Sune-Ate.

You can buy the items for the fights I believe, not the actual coffer key items.

for the quested KI's, you have to complete the quest still. For the KI's you get from BCNM's, you'll get the KI for the BC. its pretty pointless for the most part: 2k gil + 20 seals for the final fight BCNM KI.
