So my friend has the beta or demo whatever it is on PC from perordering the game.

Anyone know if it's still possible to get into it via preordering? Can I do it on steam? Not seeing any place to reserve it with some incentive or mention of a beta/demo.

You should still be able to do it, but it's hardly worth it seeing as how it ends a week from now.

I will say this though... it is much more fun and teamwork-based than MW2 is.

Front page of Steam still mentions pre-order bonus being access to the beta. It should be the third tab from the left on that flash thingy that cycles through new games.

Still got a week left to play and they just optimized it for people with dual core processors, I was afraid my performance wouldn't be up to par on this but DICE has it all figured out as usual. Very fun even on one map, been playing for hours on end.

BF games are always so fun online with friends with like 64+ players. And the destructable maps are a blast. Didn't play Bad Company, last I played was BF2142, worth the wait.

Can't wait for the RPG trackers' gun thingy, it's a pain to shoot down the copter when the player in it, is good @ dodging/taking down people aiming @ it.
( even tho, headshoting the guy in the copter w/ a M24 is awesome >:3 ... and take a bit of luck lol )

Been playing the demo on my PS3, and i've got to say, the game is sooo much fun.
Was thinking to buy MW2, but after playing this, im not so sure about that now, and let's face it, CoD games are much of the same (multiplayer wise).
That, and giving the fact that even MW1 and WaW is still expensive as crap (needs some price dropping).

I usually ditch the LMG in favor of the Saiga. A lot of my combat is usually CQC and the damn thing dominates.

I'm a little pissed that they're changing it to where C4 won't be able to blow objectives, but oh well. Was nice using a suicide bike to ride into B at the first phase and then blow up 6 C4 on it while the tank was taking out A house..

If they could make it to where friendly c4 didn't damage objectives, but enemy c4 did, I would be ok with that. Probably because its just a beta/demo, but it never fails to run into that one guy who likes to blow up their own vehicles/objectives. Or....leave it how it is and fucking implement a vote/kick system into the matches.

Why more games don't have this is just beyond me.

We are confused by this as well, 2142 used smaller guns, but whatever.

capped now all classes, and i think medic is the most fun to play with, the most boring imo is the assault class

I've taken a liking to the Recon class. Was always good at figuring out drop and the like. It just ends up pissing me off when we're on the offensive and there's 6-7 snipers sitting on top of the overlook at the first objective and they won't move up.

Yah, Recon Class is good, with the C4 for tanks for example, but like you said, when everyone is a freaking recon, you are gonna lose it.

When that happens i just go medic hop on the ATV and storm the place lol

I would have thought the engineer would get the LMGs and that the Medic would get the SMGs... but I have no worry about that. Recon is great to play now that you can give them shotties.

played demo on psn. Friggin sound is soo overwhelming with headphones on. I couldnt even think straight half the time. Had no clue to wtf i was doing with. Tanks going off in my ear, building blowing up around me. I played for all of 20 minutes then gave up. Ill try it again later was a good change of pace from MW2.
