I don't care tbh, I have a USB mic that doesn't work with the game so I am going solo.

    Unless you mean something else.

I'm a huge believer in this game, and its up's compared to MW2 (having played MW2 for PSS3, prestige a few times, etc etc). So I'll try to hit up your questions/concerns the best as I can.

The one major thing that comes to mind is teamwork teamwork teamwork. K/D ratio is a stat that's pretty much irrelevant in this game. And this game makes it very worth your while to be the driver of that tank or the pilot of that Apache, etc etc. because the bonus's are weighed very well to make assisting worth while.

I like MW2 because the killstreaks are fun and I am an achievement whore,
Like killstreaks? You pretty much get access to the same things (minus a tact nuke pretty much). Want to be a pointman for your team (and rank up ton of assists), hop in a UAV and spot like a champ, and rain down hellfire missiles on tank artillery. Maybe rolling with big guns is your thing? Show up with a tank to the party and bring down every possible hiding spot your enemies can think of. Houses, sheds, barns, guard towers, everything crumbles. And the cool think about all this is, most of this stuff is readily available to you throughout the match, and respawn fairly quickly.

Another note. All this stuff seems overpowered sounding. But BC2 has quite a few ways to deal with each vehicle (handful of rocket launchers/anti tank mines for engineers, and c4 for recons, or any other class not using a class-exclusive gun)

give me a game where it says "unlock this" and I enjoy it a lot and was wondering what BBC2 might have to offer in that department.
This is one of my problems with this game. By the time I was ranked in the mid 20's, I had everything unlocked. Given, I used each class until everything was unlocked, and switched immediately, but you will max out unlocks WELL before you hit max level.

The other thing that makes me like MW2 is the maps are well designed and each spot has multiple counters to it with different entrances or its ability to be naded/flashbanged out so that camping is hard to pull off unlike in CS ect.
One thing that I hated about the design of MW2 is the spawn killing some of the killstreaks could do, like a chopper gunner or to a lesser extent a harrier/pave low. The idea of spawn killing/camping is about 95% solved with the system in this game, because of you being able to spawn on squadmates (and in some cases, held bases in modes like Conquest). Also in Rush mode for example, if you are defending, you can only progress to close to the attackers deployment before you have to turn around and go back.

Now that is out of the way. There is an infinite number of possible strategies you can employ in BF, because of the destructive aspect of it. For example, say you find a good house attic to snipe out of, but the windows are not quite where you like them. No problem, strap some c4 to the wall and make your own hole. And say someone sees you doing that, and don't like the idea of you blowing their wigs off from said attic. Not a problem either. Grenade launchers/Rockets/Tanks/Choppers/UAV's/C4 can all either blow your cover by eliminating your cover walls, or bring the whole house down on you altogether.

Sorry for such a winded response, but I wanted to give you a good idea, or anyone for that matter, of what to expect from this game. There is a couple of balancing issues that have been stated are getting adjusted, like the M60 medic gun, and the 40mm grenade launcher that assaults have access to. But with all that said, pretty much anything a team throws at you, you have a number of ways to counter it.

    Don't think I missed anything...

    Hmmm..

The game sounds awesome and I will probably pick it up in the coming months after I knock out the rest of the titles/emblems in MW2. Having everything unlocked that quickly sucks. I assume you mean weapon wise and whatnot? I want some trivial stuff to work on to keep me busy like MW2's titles/emblem system unless BBC2 has that and you were referring to the weapon unlocks?

Yeah, I was meaning weapons/gadgets. Each has star ratings you can earn with each as you use them and accumulate kills with (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) but does not change the performance or anything like that (but when you kill someone, your gun ranking is seen by them along with the kit you were using, and your rank)

There is handful of 'badges' that you can earn, which I think I'm about to start working on exclusively myself. Some, the silver badge tier, is lesser things, like kill 7 people with a weapon type, so many headshots in a round, be top player, etc. Then there's the gold badge tier, which include things a bit harder to reach. Sadly none of these things are displayable for other people to see, like the tag/emblem system for MW2. I would say there's probably 30~40 badges in each tier (rough estimate).

So there's some things to keep you busy after you unlock all the equipment.

I play Rush exclusively when I play BC2, and I've never seen that you can only go so far towards the attackers deployment. I almost always play by myself as well, so I am unable to spawn on squad mates, so I always have to start at the deployment. I get spawn killed more on BC2 than I do on MW2. That's my only gripe about this game, so I'm just curious if this has very recently been fixed? Or am I just going up against a shitton of hackers or something, because I'd say a good majority of my deaths come from spawn campers.

Depends on the map. Some maps you can spawn camp the attackers almost directly in their spawn, others you cant.

Yes you can spawn camp on Rush. Not sure if it's all maps, but it has happened to me before. It's no big deal really if you play with a squad though, since you can respawn right on top of them.

I bought the stimulus package for MW2 and seriously tried to get back into it after 1st Prestige. No dice man..... Battlefield is just too good for me to give up lol.

Everything I hate about Modern Warfare 2 is not a problem in Battlefield at all.

-Noob Tubes exist but you actually have to be pretty precise with them.
-No knife fags running through bullet fire to knife you in the chest from 50 FT away.
    -No thermal scopes/No Heartbeat Sensors
-Bullets actually drop as your distance to the target gets larger.

I also love the "Spotter" System. Basically you hit the back button (on 360) when you have enemies in your field of view. This will put their locations on your teams map display for bit, and you get 20 Points if the guy you spotted gets killed by someone else.

    The only thing I miss fro MW2 is Claymores >_<;;

I don't rage at this game nowhere near as much as I did in MW2. If I had a match in MW2 where my k/d wasn't above 1, I would be very angry. This game, for some reason, doesn't do that to me at all. Hell I can think of matches off the top of my head where I've had like a .75 K/D, but was a credit to the team, and it felt better than killing 50 dudes.

I think the reason BC2 can pull this off is because when you die, its because you did something stupid more than likely.

I really don't rage in BC2 at all other than being spawn camped, but I don't worry about my KDR dropping like I would be MW2. I always turn on BC2 when I'm doing terrible at MW2 but still in the mood for a FPS, and within a few games I forget why I was mad in the first place.

I play Recon only still, about to pick up Medic the next time I play though. I'd say at least 70% of my experience points came from spotting people and getting assists. I love to spot, makes me feel a lot more useful to my team than just taking potshots at random runners. When I play Recon I spot and keep a look out for other snipers, letting my team take care of other infantry. Of course if I can get a defending shot from a defender infantry going to disarm the M-COM, I'll take it. Or use a mortar strike, because that's a lot more fun.

Sniper showdowns are infinitely more fun on BC2 , too. And oh man, that one specific sound of an explosive going off right next to you, it makes this really unique almost like whiplash type sound. God, it makes me so hard with my headset.

Rush can be insanely rage inducing if you don't have squad members who talk/cooperate. I almost always end up in a squad of recon halfway back across the map sniping or medics who run by Rambo'ing everyone and not dropping health packs or reviving. If anyone has this on Xbox and wants to play a few games with me I'm game. GT: Ziegus and I'm usually on in the mornings EST but can be on Afternoons or Nights before 11pm (when I go to work). I play any class btw.

Shit man, the guy I usually play with has over 200 since release. I just don't get in situations where I think to knife first before pulling the trigger. Even though I do have a handful of defib/power tool kills. My total in-game though (which counts the demo) is in the 130's, but demo peeps were scrubs anyway, and I would usually just fuck around knifing anyway.
