NE alabama, my current AT&T gets no signal lol gfs verision gets good signal. No 3G for either in my area though

I have both.

Droid... for 90% of things.

Iphone has been on the market longer so is a bit smoother as far as surfing(it's the browser not the connection).

ATT sucks ass also. Droid is 2x as fast as the iphone.

Neither have 3G where i live. Verizion has better regular service. I was looking at being added on gfs phone plan.

Verizon's entire network is 3g. If you have service, you have their 3g.

Droid. Apps are free, the screen resolution is massive so everything looks fucking sharp as hell, Verizon has a better network overall(don't listen to the retarded commercials), and it's not made by Apple.

getting droid tonight then. Anything special to know? Also is verizion 3G diff than At&T? i have a shine with AT&T atm and if i have 3G it shows up with me just opening the phone. the G symbol turns from grey to green and says 3G. My gf has a Dare with verizon and dont see anything that says 3G (cant get on net with it though)

IMHO, stock out of the box, droid will do more.

If you don't mind going into the jailbreaking world on iPhone though, it can pull ahead. But jailbreaking isn't exactly for the average user or faint-hearted.

Do thorough testing on your droid to make sure the sound quality is acceptable

Some phones have had issues with sound, if yours has a problem you can get a replacement phone free of charge.

It may sound muffled, garbled, or sound like you're in a tunnel. Incoming AND outgoing.

This can sometimes be fixed by:

1) Call ##PROGRAM on your dialpad
2) Put in the passcode "000000" in the text bar
3) Go to the Vocode tab
4) Select EVRC-B or 13K

Not always, but it worked for me. If you have good quality, which most people will, enjoy your phone! It's amazing.
