    HP TouchSmart for FFXI?

    I'm just curious how these things work, could you touch your character and drag it to run across the screen like you can do with the mouse?

    The touchscreen controls just take the place of a mouse. It will act like the mouse cursor is where you are touching, while having left-click held. I don't think I'd use it for many games besides RTS, and even then, only certain ones. Touchscreens are more useful for drawing and writing input if you have a suitable stylus for the purpose, and a WACOM tablet is much more affordable than a touchscreen all-in-one computer which you can't move the touchscreen monitor to a new computer when the old one gets outdated.
