    I'm so pumped up for this movie. Gordon Gekko was the guy you loved to hate and now he's back and out of jail.


    Aside from Shia Labouf and the lead actress that looks like an 8 year old boy I can't wait to see this movie. I realize its really a Niche film but if you guys saw the original you would see how well it translates to today's world and whats wrong with our economy.

    Around page 6-7 when Leif gets unbanned it will go even further downhill

    I am excited for this movie though. And outside of Transformers, I honestly don't mind Shia Ladouche. He wasn't why the new Indy was awful(Lucas's writing) and overall he's not that bad of an actor imo.

    and Shia wasn't that bad in Transformers, it was mainly the writing and direction Bay took that movie in.

    I'm sort of interested in seeing the original having never heard of it. It seems like one of those interesting and informatively depressing movies which I guess is fitting for Oliver Stone.

    I mean in that "this is the way the world works/may work" kind of way where you see the shady dealings going on and have a peek at a probable reality you never really think about. That's just what I took away from the trailer I watched, though, because I haven't seen it.

    how have you never heard of the original movie? Gordon Gekko/greed is good, have been held up as the doctrinal theory of modern finance since the movies release.

    I've heard the line, but I've never known where it came from. Just thought it was one of the those things. lol

    As far as famous quotes, it was the same way with Apocalypse Now and "the smell of napalm in the morning."
