    Windows7 Bootup not recognizing VidCard

Whenever I boot up my computer from a long shutdown, it boots Windows7 like normal but the OS doesn't recognize my gfx card, i tried to check devicemanager and what not to check if i can fix it via update driver...

I usually just shutdown the computer, turn off the power off the psu then wait for the computer to completely power off. Then turn it back on and boot it like normal. BY then it boots like normal with the computer recognizing the gfx card.

Running the EVGA GTX260 OC edition with samsung 24" lcd hooked upto dvi1 with my 42"lcd plasma hooked upto dv2 via hdmi converter that was included with the vid card.

more of a pain in the ass to double my boottime.. ran fine after i installed windows7 about 3 months later i had this problem pop up.. same shit happened undervista..

if anyone has good ideas id like to hear, otherwise just gonna do a fresh format again whenever i feel like backing up everything to my external hds

Ive had the same problem for over a year now driver updates and fresh OS installs never helped tho ive just learned to live with it but if anyone knows of a fix id love it

Also using eVGA GTX260's in TRI-SLI but hooked up to a 40" samsung HDTV and a 24" asus lcd monitor

Ive tried using each card by it self without the others installed and each time i started it up after being off all night it happened agen

ive tried about 3 dozen different drivers both WHQL and beta over the past year(yes all where clean installs using driver sweeper in safe mode to remove the old drivers) and with all still had the problem

Running a 1000watt corsair PS witch i tested in 3 other PC's none of witch gave the same problem

also its happened on multiple os's ubuntu WinXP vista and Win7

Not sure if it's completely the same but on occasion when I use the BIOS auto-start to have my laptop turn on at a specific time each morning, I tend to experience a problem wherein ATI Tray Tools reports no card detected, yet doesn't revert to an ultra low resolution the way uninstalling a video card would. I;ve only experienced this in Windows 7; used ATI Tray Tools with XP as well.
