User CP > Edit Options > scroll down and uncheck "show images"

Can turn off sigatars too, to make browsing BG less conspicuous

it does suck when I have to change them all back after I get home, and then change them again when I get to work the next day, but it's worth the trouble unless I wanted to create a second account or something

Yeah I think I might use my leet coding skillz to make a magic button that goes and changes all my prefs for me, if you like i can make you one too
