Remote Desktop Problems (windows this time)

Yeah me again, been looking on google can't find the solution

here is the "schema"

From PC1(windows xp pro) i connect to PC2 (windows server 2003 entreprise) with Remote Desktop connection.

The problem is this the connection bar up the screen is broken, what i mean is if i move my mouse on it, i cannot pin/unpin it, close maximize or minimize the screen.

This is on a saved .rdp connection, i tried also with creating a new one and same problem.

I also when in the options of the connection and uncheck the "show connection bar" on full screen.

So the bar doesn't show and if i move my mouse over it, it doesn't show either.

I tried RDP from a PC3 (windows XP pro) to PC2 and the bar works fine, so the problem is on PC1

But no idea what can cause that

Try a different remote desktop program? I'm using RealVNC and having no trouble across various platforms.

VNC, UltraVNC, RealVNC and so on, or bust.

Nah boss doesn't want that

rule is we use RDP to connect on servers, and VNC to connect on user desktop
