Lovie Smith just touched down in Charlotte to meet with Julius Peppers and his agent, Carl Carey. Smith will fly back to Chicago with them.

I honestly don't think it'll fix all the problems the Bears had last year considering Peppers has games where he seemingly takes the day off and disappears completely.

I can see Peppers playing hard an entire season now that he is out of Carolina but who knows, he is an enigma.

The biggest problem the bears had on Defense is that they couldn't get to the QB. It exposed their pass defense and secondary. Adding Peppers will make the DB's look a lot better.

Aso's contract stipulation for his pay when he gets traded is pretty outrageous. I'd pretty much love to see him on the Jets just to see which QB's would have the balls to throw against him and Revis for lulz factor, but alas
