So espn is saying that pending Al Davis' final approval, Russel is going to get released. Over/Under on Fox signing him and appointing him the new #1?
please don't kill me miz <3 you no homo
Uh...hate to burst the bubble here, but Sam Young might be Flozell Adams: The White Boy Edition.
He started all four years at ND, is a huge motherfucker, but consistently held/false started SO DAMN MUCH. On top of that, I watched his ass get burned often by good pass rushes.
I hope I can chalk that up to shitty ND O-line coaching, because dear God, our line has been a POS for years. But yeah...I wouldn't expect too much from him TBH.
I'd love to be proven wrong though.
People would rather jump off a balcony than play OLine for ND.
Butthurt, you mad, etc.
Somewhat.
Can we make 'butthurt' type out to something else?
Sure is some butthurt nfl fans in here.
Some Meteora level type bitching
I watched 5-6 ND games last couple of years and he performed pretty well, he did have a few false start penalties, but it wasnt excessive. I know I didnt watch them all obviously, probably missed his shitty games then.
He's a durable guy, started all of his games at Notre Dame, and he's coach able, so we'll see.
Ocho said Russell could be a great QB if they brought him to the Bengals and he worked under Palmer.
I'm still laughing.

End of an era?The Lions haven't ruled out bringing in Pacman Jones, but they aren't being aggressive about either. Jones texted with Lions coach Jim Schwartz this week.
"I texted him and just told him that I'm still available, I like what they did in the draft," Jones told the Detroit Free Press. "It was just a simple text message. And he was like, 'Thanks. Keep your head up and keep the faith.' We left it at that."
Jones says he's ready to take a minimum-salary, incentive-laden deal and wants to join a team as soon as possible. He also says he won't fall into the same traps that got him in trouble early in his career.
"You ain't got to worry about no phone calls at 3, 4 in the morning. I'm here to play football," Jones said. "Partying was what I liked to do back then. I'm pretty much partied out now."
The question is whether he's played out too. We don't buy the various reports of "interest" in him because he's obviously ready to sign and no one will meet with him. Jones may have to forget about those incentives and take any minimum salary deal he's offered.
pacman aint partied out, he will be bossing till the end of time.
Never that. That just means he'll have the strippers and blow at his mansion instead at a club.
Baller status cant be revoked.
bet if he plays in the NFL again, he gets burned by Jordan Shipley
A poor man's Chris Doering.
