NFL is absurdly broken my god. I would be livid as a veteran, especially one that has been in the league long enough to pre-date the era when rookies were getting this much stupid money. Butthurt players on D must want to take these guys out just a tad more than say, oh I donno, Mark Brunell.

A jab at the yankee payroll, how original. Baseball is completely different from football. My critique of the NFL was players not having proved anything making exponentially more ,before stepping on the field, than experienced veterans. Of the major sports baseball has the longest road to the highest level, upon reaching which you still are not handed a shit ton of cash unless you are a rare exception ie Strasburg, and even then when taken into consideration how much the perennial stars make, its not even close. It would be like Heywood making more than A-Rod's 25mil a year.

Don't hate on the Yankees for working within the rules of a league with no salary cap. They reinvest in their product and make it the best it can be. Sorry they don't have Pohlad as an owner who opts to pocket the cash instead.
