Couldn't find a video, but 50 through the air in the playoffs vs. the chargers followed by a strongarm pose. Will never forget it.
Penningtons the man and you will cease all blasphemy.
Oh I didn't realize he fucked up his shoulder before 2005 my b.
pennington has always been a straight up hustler that is plagued with bad luck.
dude just wins games yet doesn't get a lot of chances.
a straight jeff garcia if you will
Never understood all of the Pennington hate, who gives a shit if his arm isn't the strongest, he still gets his job done. This hard-on scouts have for strong arms is how you have piece of shit QBs like Jamarcus Russell getting $32 million guaranteed despite not being able to throw with any kind of accuracy. Shit is just stupid.
Oh man, scouts were raving at Kyle Boller's arm when he was coming out of college. He was dubbed the "cant miss kid with the golden rocket arm"....AHAHAHA.
also i know no one is surprised, but they are now reporting brett favre has made "no decision" on whether or not he is retiring, and the star tribune reported that the vikings have offered him a 20 million contract for this year to not retire. (16 guaranteed, lol)
pay me 50k and ill qb for the vikings this year, i can take tavaris
I hate T.O as much as the next guy, but didn't he for the most part keep his trap shut in buffalo?
Knew they were jumping the gun lol. Great, I'm glad he could still play this year. Vikings were entertaining as hell to watch last year, maybe Favre just doesn't play the first few weeks or something. I bet Jackson can win some games anyway, talent level around him is outstanding (except for that o-line). Can't really blame the drama this time on Favre, everyone knew he wasn't going to do the whole training camp + preseason thing and he has legit issues with his health.
God damn I can't wait for football to start, its easily the most wonderful time of the year. Fuck christmas.
I'll give Favre some credit, he is the absolute best at making the media look like a bunch of uninformed morons.
Well it's amazing how much an extra 3 million can make your ankle feel better.
It can't be about the money. I don't see Farve as trying to milk the Vikings for every last penny they have to offer. It's a matter of not being able to let the game he loves go. His body wants to retire, but his mind and heart won't let him. Ofcourse he wants another ring but above all, I think that mentally he just can't let go.
Agreed. I was kinda' hoping he really was retiring though. He would have retired on arguably his best season ever. Be nice to see someone finish at the top for a change.
I have a hard time believing he'll do anything like he did last year.
34-3 encore.
