I think he's actually surpassed Roger Clemens on his am i coming or going retirement bullshit. I was getting sick of the Rocket when he started milking Houston and NY, and now it's Favre Favre Favre. I am honestly at the point now where I hope he comes back only to get carted off the field week 1 just to end the bullshit.

Normally, I'd say something like "I'll believe it when I hear it directly from him," but as we all know by now, even that doesn't mean all that much. Others have said "I'll believe it when he's not there to take the first snap under center," but even that's no good--what if he's on the Clemens half-season rental plan? Truth is, it's not until the final seconds tick off the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLV that we can absolutely safe in the knowledge that the '10 NFL season will be entirely Favreless. Until then, we have no choice but to assume his return is forever imminent, lurking in Wranglers around the corner.

He will get elected, then after 3 years he will wait till after the primaries are done to put himself in for re-election.

"The gap between Matt Moore and the rest of the passers here is considerable. If you took the names and numbers off the jerseys and watched the four of them, you'd pick Moore 10 out of 10 times," Gantt said.
    Cheers.

    And for Archi:
This doesn't tell us anything about Clausen's long-term prospects. Rookie quarterbacks are supposed to look bad in their first training camp. Remember Aaron Rodgers?

I believe that article is mistaking Matt Moore for Tony Pike.

A true boss would have won the superbowl last year.

His contract stipulates that he's only required to score 5 touchdowns in his first playoff game.

    FTFY.

The only stat that matters is the one under the W column.

That is such an overused cliche. It is a completely team oriented sport, so yea when you are talking about the TEAM the only thing that matters is Ws, but individuals? No way.

Last I checked, the Lombardi Trophy wasn't an individual award. You can boast and brag about stats all day but championships is what matters. I guaratee you that Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Fran Tarkenton, and Eric Dickerson would give back every record they own/ed to have a Super Bowl ring.

Dan Marino is not tripping over himself to swap places with Trent Dilfer. Trust me. Barry Sanders and Eric Dickerson don't wish they were Joseph Addai.

    You wouldn't either.

Dan Marino would rather have all his records than being dragged into a superbowl the way Dilfer was. He may trade them if he could have led a team to a superbowl. It's definitely not a black and white sort of thing.

I mean, Favre spent the better part of the last 12 seasons pissing away good opportunities at critical moments with his gunslinger bullshit, but people still suck his nuts because he won a superbowl 14 years ago.

    It's dumb.
