I'll take him back if he get's his ass back in gear. He was the glue that our running game needed when Jacobs was too busy sucking air on the sidelines and Bradshaw was healing from whatever inevitable injury he incurred after attempting to run through a 300 pound Defensive tackle.
According to Adam Schefter, Arizona is looking to deal Leinart in the next few days. Buffalo is supposedly one of the teams interested but they're hesitant due to his contract. Bills cheap? No way!
I can't see Leinart playing in the cold and personally i'd rather just say fuck this season and bank on one of the 3 QB's in next years draft. Now what i'm dying to see is what happens if somehow Buffalo manages the first pick next year and trade out because they don't wanna pay. Will Buffalo fans revolt in the streets? I just want a fucking QB.
Fucking hilarious.

I can't be the only one that thought of this.

It surprises me that the Cards are actually willing to pull the trigger to begin the Derek Anderson era in Arizona.
I can't believe the Giants want Matt Lienhart, who just got beat out by Derek Anderson.
It's a moot point. All Mannings are indestructible.
While he'll never admit to it, this is a self-preservation move on the part of Ken Whisenhunt. After the TN preseason game, he realized his O-line sucks to the point that even with Leinart, the best they were gonna do was 7-9...but he can't risk letting Leinart have a breakout season while the team still loses (a'la Rodgers for the 6-10 Packers in 2008...as unlikely as that is), because his contract balloons next year and has to be re-negotiated if he does well this season. Whisenhunt can't take that chance because then he's stuck with a QB he doesn't want now for another 3-4 years. He's already waited 3 years with Warner to install the kind of offense he's wanted, so he's not willing to be stuck with Leinart at this point.
Short version: he'd rather go 5-11 with Anderson and push Leinart out of town, than go 7-9 with Matt and still suck.
So, on the eve of a new football season (read: additional starts for Aaron Rodgers) and this article, I decided to do a little stat-wankery to compare Aaron Rodgers to other quarterbacks at this point in their careers.
But lol of course virtually noone can touch Aaron Rodgers through 32 starts. Except...for one man.
Let's compare numbers to the only other QB that is in his league through his first 32 regular season starts:
Player X:
78 passing TD, 34 INT, 9,021 passing yards, 29 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD.
Aaron Rodgers:
58 passing TD, 20 INT, 8,472 passing yards, 523 rushing yards, 9 rushing TD.
Aaron Rodgers is definitely the most careful with the ball in his first 32 starts, but would you rather have him over Player X over that period of time?
(guess who player X is)
my first guess is Marino
And like Marino, he'll never have a ring.
alright, I'm gonna do the same. This is brady vs rodgers in their first 3 years of starting
2 vs 0
Rodgers hasn't started 3 seasons yet.
Also, I hate to burst your bubble Arch, but the analysis of those stats and the conclusion have been done and posted 100x over already by sports analyst. Olde news.
Tom Brady had to lead his offense to score more than 18 points ONCE in the 2 superbowl runs he had in his first 3 seasons (6 games) - he scored more than one touchdown across those 6 games ONCE.
BUT DUH RINGZ ARE ALL DAT MATTARS GUIZE! OMG TOM BRADY IS SO DOMINANT!
Proven > your guy. Don't forget that Brady didn't have the same kind of talent for WRs as Rodgers when he did that too. That's one of the most overlooked facts about Brady.
