    lol

Story that led to that .gif: Chiefs/Rams regular season game back in 2006. Rams were losing (of course) and it was garbage time basically. Bulger kept tossing it to Curtis down the sideline. Bulger tosses it to Curtis again, which led to that gruesome hit by Knight right as the clock hit 0:00. You could hear the crowd, which consisted mainly of Chiefs fans, say "ooooooohhhhhhhh" and coaches and players go to meet in the middle of the field as he lays there on the sideline.

Larry Johnson gashed them for like 175 yards and I was there in person. Good shit.

    E: Nice, youtube video!

E2: My .gif collection is pretty massive. Once upon a time LJ was a beast

It's a shame none of those Chiefs team with the great offenses could ever go anywhere in the playoffs, they were fun to watch. LJ was such a beast back then.

Could never build a defense to go along with it. *Cue 2003 playoff game against Indy where neither team punted*

Here's one more classic .gif for the road~

Now this is how you throwback.

All the way back to 1929, when the Packers won the first of their 12 championships.

LT better not expect to cut into Greene's carries, and that's all I'll say on the matter. He better be a clearcut backup and keep his mouth shut.

And he better have signed for way less than we owed Jones, or at the very least less than the Chiefs paid Jones.. since we had a chance to match that offer.

Not re-signing Jones for 2yrs/5m was dumb as hell, especially since LT probably got the same money and will definitely eat into Greene's touches.

    Wow... lol

Did the jets not learn from the Brett farve experiment?

LT is a HOF for sure but this is the equivalent of Emmit smith in Arizona. This might actually be a step down if not a lateral move.

Shaun Hill gone. Kind of sucks, he wasn't amazing but he was a pretty good backup.

Why did they release Thomas in the first place...? For all the good moves they have made this off season, they have made about 5 retarded ones.

I think they didn't believe jones could duplicate what he did last season and wasn't worth the bonus. If they got LT at a discount over what Jones wanted, then I guess they feel behind a better running o-line and in a different environment he'd be able to produce. They know exactly what they are getting with LT, just have to wait for the season to start really.

I think they feel Jones is going to be on that same track or otherwise they wouldn't made the change. I think it only makes sense if they got him cheaper. Jones isn't gonna do shit in KC so there really isn't going to be anyway to tell it was the right move unless LT is successful.

No question LT's skills are diminishing but the Chargers lost Hardwick for most of the season and I don't think their Oline is anything special otherwise.

Pretty stupid argument to make after the year Favre had. And signing somebody to be a backup is hardly the same situation.

as a member of the jets? yeah his one year with the jets was stuff of legends so much so that he would have rather retire then stay there.

    to sum it up

Jets signing/trading for HOFers on their last legs = bad

Vikings signing HOFers on their last legs = good

And your naive if you think LT wasn't promised a legitimate shot at starting. Otherwise he would have been better off signing with the vikings
And if he doesn't start get ready for more of
