So seriously, will this be the year when they finally instate a rule so that 7-9 teams aren't in the play offs?

Has there ever been a 7-9 team with a losing record in the playoffs? There were a couple 8-8s, but honestly you can't fix the NFC West overnight man.

I don't follow the combine #'s much. Just asking because a friend of mine is pushing hard to break into the NFL and is putting out workout and skills videos online.


He started at Safety for UCONN, then had to transfer to Pace because he lost his scholarship. He played Safety and a little Outside Linebacker for Pace.

Take it from me man, nobody in a position with a team gives a fuck less about a highlight video. With enough effort, someone could make a 5 minute reel about Ryan Leaf.

It's all about the actual game film. Went through this process with someone last year.

He has quite a few out. One is all game film, one is vertical/benchpress/etc., and the others I haven't seen myself yet.


I was just wondering how he matches up number wise. I highly doubt he's getting anywhere NFL wise, but maybe he'll get a shot in the CFL or NFL Europe..... who knows :-p

Forgot to mention he can hit 52" on the jump box at 230 LBS. Not an official combine workout to my knowledge, but that shit fucking impressed me lol.

NFL Europe is long gone. There is still the CFL, UFL and it seems the Arena league is going to make a come back.
